Concha y Toro 2016 Casillero del Diablo Reserva Chardonnay (SRP $12): Here’s a budget-friendly Chardonnay from Chile that satisfies. It’s medium-bodied, bright throughout, and quite gulpable. There are aromas and upfront flavors of yellow-fleshed fruit and melon with undertones of baking spice and toasted nuts. I enjoyed this wine on its own and with smoked salmon topped with a horseradish caper sauce. #Chile#Chardonnay#ChileanWine#winelover#wineblogger#myvinespot#WineWednesday
It’s a rosé kind of Wednesday!!! This heat and humidity has been crazy this last week and I’m ready for a little break... but in no way ready for winter or for rosé season to come to an end 😫⠀
For #winewednesday we are kicking back and sipping on one of my favorite rosés from @redcarwine. I started following Red Car Wines on Instagram awhile back; being drawn to their beautiful labels, obviously. 😝 I can’t help it, as a graphic designer, I find I choose my wines by the labels, haha!⠀
Red Car Wines resides in the stunning coastal hills of West Sonoma Coast. This rose is a blend of Sonoma Coast and Mendocino Ridge appellations. The cool climates of these two areas result in a lovely dry rosé, that’s crisp and bursting in delightful acidity. Expect flavors like strawberry, violet, bing cherry, juicy grapefruit and tangerine. Cheers to the perfect wine to finish off the summer!⠀
Hurry over the blog to see our list of 8 rosé wines to drink this summer - winter is almost here and we need to soak in every last drop of sunshine and warmth!!! #linkinbio ⠀
A little wine down Wednesday/face mask time with my favorite 3rd grader and a splash of my current obsession...this red.
This splash is the 2016 Middle Jane Zinfandel from Sonoma, CA. 💯% Zinfandel
RS < .5g/L
Pairs with bbq, pizza and Gouda. And life.
In the cellar, the wine fermented naturally with native, isolated yeast from the vineyard in closed-top, stainless steel tanks, which helped maintain aromatics. Then, it spent 13 months in a combination of stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels before a light filtration prior to bottling. The wine was not fined.
Did You Know? Zinfandel is the third-leading grape varietal in California; although it is a red grape, a majority of California Zinfandel is still used to make the infamous White Zin. 😱
In honor of #WineWednesday , I thought I'd post something appropriate being that this is the not only the first merlot I ever tasted in my life but the very first wine period! For that reason I have always had a fondness and love for #DuckhornMerlot plus the fact that it is really an amazing merlot with a taste you will never forget! @duckhornwine - as you can see the 2013 has already been savored but the 2012 I'll be saving for another special occasion! Truth is, you can't go wrong with Duckhorn Merlot or Duckhorn Merlot Three Palms for that matter! #wine#vino#winelovers#WineO#winetasting#winstagram#MerlotWine#drinkmerlot#finewine#Napa#DuckhornVineyards 🐦🍷🍷🍷- "A glass a day.............." You know the rest!
Wine Wednesday Selection:
2015 Late Harvest Muscat Canelli
Notes from the winery about this wine:
Harvested on September 23rd, our estate Late Harvest Muscat Canelli was allowed to ripen on the vine for extended period of time. Rich honey-like aromas complement peach and apple flavors leading into an elegant, lasting finish. We may be biased, but we think this is one of the very best representations of the Late Harvest Muscat Canelli grape. It is one of our family favorites.

One of the Companies we work with sent us some wine stoppers. Since today is “Wine Wednesday” I took my dog (wine stopper) for a walk to my favorite wine shop - Picked up a nice bottle of Abafado - So good!
🍷Happy Wine Wednesday!🍷

The day every little girl dreams of. Can you hear the wedding bells? 🔔Growing up you just think it all happens without any thought.
I thought I had everything I wanted. Engaged to my high school sweetheart. Always had a job during high school/college. Went to nursing school. Moved out. Got a job in the career I always worked so hard for. Started planning a wedding. Everything I thought in my mind I was supposed to do.
At the beginning of all this planning I wasn’t even excited at first as bad as that sounds. Because I was so far behind on taking care of MYSELF! You cannot take care of anyone else if you aren’t taking care of yourself first. Wanna know what changed the game for me?! Personal development. Personal development books/podcasts. I have a 40 minute commute to work so I’ve started each morning with listening to someone who sets my day in the right direction. My vibes have completely changed! ⭐️✨I’m sure you’ve heard all the hype about Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis and it lives up to all the hype! If you haven’t already go buy it, borrow it, download it, whatever you gotta do 😍 you’ll thank me later! Every women needs to read this book!! LIFE CHANGER 🙌🏼 Stop putting yourself last! Why do we think keeping promises to others is more important than the ones we make to ourselves? She also has a podcast called RISE that I enjoy! Who knew podcasts instead of the radio could change your whole day— making it a daily routine to then change your life 🙏🏼📖 what’s your favorite podcast or personal development book? Share below👇🏼👇🏼 I’d love new ideas 🤓
Hello friends! I’m not much of a lake person, but over the past few weeks my family has been taking the effort to make our lake house actually habitable, so it’s gaining on me:) It is just the ideal place for a long, relaxed day of reading:) .
We didn’t get a lot of answers on our question about changing up the marble pattern we have going on (check our story!), but out of the few that responded the “majority” said it didn’t matter. If I’m being completely honest, that’s the answer I was secretly hoping for 🙈, because it’s a pain to pause and find a marble surface to take aesthetic pictures on every 2 posts haha! So this marks the end of that! ~ N .
