Getting into the Christmas spirit this weekend and I CANT WAIT🎅🏼 we've got a lot on the agenda but its always fulfilling when we get to create new memories together. So here's what we've got- decorating a gingerbread house, hosting our first Christmas dinner (send us good luck we're gonna need it) and finishing up wrapping presents. I've even managed to schedule out my workouts early in the morning so I can get them done and out of the way before all of the festivities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🍭Sit Ups with Boxing every time you come up
20 reps each, Repeat as many times as you can for 10 minutes.

Growing up in California I'm so used to Winter weather for the holidays and now that I live here it's been quite the change having Christmas in the heart of Summer☀️🌡. Tried a new workout today and I didn’t die. In fact, it felt exhilarating to try something new after my upper body lift sesh. And I had no idea how much this little step would dial up the intensity 🔥
I’m admittedly a girl who likes her normal routine and her usual workouts, but in my 40th year I promised myself I’d try new things even if they were out of my comfort zone. Or cardio 😜

Worked out @foreveryseasun yesterday and loving this little arm and leg combo with a lot of balance work. Definitely don’t recommend this one in a group setting so make sure to use a comfortable spring setting for the client so they don’t fall. Perfect for your stronger private clientele!

Balance is something that I find very difficult because I’m such a busy bee 🐝 I work a full time job, I have Dolphins Cheer practice 11 hours a week, additional appearances, events, games on Sundays — there’s always something going on in my world. But the busier I get, the more important It is for me to find balance. I NEED time to reflect and recharge. Whether it’s taking a yoga class, a vacation, or simply just a walk outside (or on the beach😆). When you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember to find time to do something small for yourself that makes you happy, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Find that balance and keep it. Because life is crazy, and let’s be real - we are all just trying to stay sane in this crazy world! AM I RIGHT?! 🤣 what do y’all do to find balance in life?!

I’m ready to turn my back on this week and grateful for the shift that the New Moon has brought. It was a strange week for me - my dog got in an accident and needed minor surgery, I injured my wrist and have had to skip or modify much of my practice, my opinion has simply been ignored, and minor other snafus have simply taken me out of my normal routine and left me feeling, well, a bit off. Somewhere along the line I had to laugh at the hide-and-seek game the Universe seemed to be playing with me and look deeper at the messages it was offering me. Being forced to slow down allows us to see in new ways. It shines the spotlight on things we have glossed over in our routine. This space has made me even more grateful for my body and practice and they ways it brings deep connection into my life - with my soul, my body, my purpose and my community. Even if it means laying in child’s pose the entire class, or practicing Yin, Restorative, Sound Healing or Nidra, one thing remains consistent, I am simply better when I get to my mat. My spirituality is just simply something that I won’t compromise and I am grateful for a life where I have the luxury of seeing each situation as a spiritual lesson. ⠀⠀

После тренировок, все тело ноет от боли в мышцах и суставах, подкожный жирок негодует, все плечи в синяках. Я не жалуюсь, ни в коем случае! Просто зачем мне все это?🤔.
К танцам не относятся серьёзно, если это не балет. По мнению общества они не являются социально полезной деятельностью, это все так..игрушки и развлечение. Но разве «веселить» кого-то со сцены или самого себя в клубном кругу так плохо?
Ведь цель танца вызвать эмоции, такие какие они есть, здесь и сейчас. Потому что в рамках общественных норм мы часто теряем собственное Я, не понимая чего мы хотим и куда движемся, как говно в канаве, просто плывущее по течению. .
Так вот я не какашка💩, я ощущаю себя именно через танец. Мне нравится дарить эмоции, выступая, и получать, наблюдая. Вот почему меня не волнует усталость и боль, для меня танец - мое самовыражение, мое Я.
Это не эгоизм, это осознание самого себя как частного и части, осознание того, что ты можешь дать другим.
И я не стала философом, я просто хочу халявные занятия от @moloko_dance 😊
