Regrann from @shivang.mehta - Also know as the spectacled macaque because of the white formations around the eye, the Phayre's Leaf Monkey was once widely distributed in Southeast Asia from eastern Bangladesh, southwestern China, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand and northern Vietnam. Habitual loss, timber logging and hunting resulted in massive decline in the numbers and the population has shrunk down to more than 50% in the last 35 years.
The Indian subspecie of the Phayre's Leaf Monkey is found in primary and secondary evergreen and semi-evergreen forest, mixed moist deciduous forest, bamboo-dominated areas, light woodlands, and near tea plantations. Tripura remains one of the last strongholds for this primate in India and the specie is being well protected in some forests in this north eastern state of India.

Tripura government limits paper use in state offices
Details: The BJP-IPFT Tripura government has imposed limitations on the printing of paper in government offices and has urged the public to stop misusing and wasting paper. The general administration, headed by the Chief Minister, issued a missive asking public servants to take printouts only when it is important. Various guidelines like printing both sides of the paper as opposed to single side and keeping the line spacing minimum were also stressed.
