Instead of saying - ⏰⏱⏰ ‘I don’t have time’ try saying ‘IT’S NOT A PRIORITY’ and see how that feels! ‘I’m not working on my GROWTH because it’s not a priority’ 😱
If it doesn’t sit well, that’s the point!!!! TIME is a CHOICE! So if you don’t like how you’re spending it, YOU can choose differently✔️ This is a powerful exercise to try - it’s time to get real with yourself!!! How are you wasting your time ? Let me know below 👇🏽👇🏽
d i d • someone say banana? 🍌 Look at this adorable elephant trunk. Who could ever resist to give it a treat. - Tragically a lot of baby elephants still have to suffer from kraal, phajaan or training crush, a up to 7-day long non-stop treatment, where they are tied up with strong ropes or chains to keep the baby from moving. This not only involves their little legs but also their head ears and even their trunk. Why to tie their trunk too? During crush time they are beaten, stabbed or / and hurt by nails. They don’t get sleep, food or water to break the elephants spirit, all in the name of domestication. Only if the elephant stops screaming and trying to escape the crush finally will be stopped. This treatment is so horrible that some baby elephants try to kill themselves. They try to step on their little trunk or bite it until it’s bleeding so bad that they die from blood loss. That’s why kraal also involves tying the trunk. 😢 This is the ugly truth behind tamed elephants, no matter if you see them in touristic elephant camps, circuses, shows or street begging. No elephant wants to carry you around, do tricks or walk up and down the streets - they just lost their will to live and accepted that there is no escape and if you look closely you’ll always see a mahout reminding his elephant of this.😢 #freeelephants#saddleoff
🇬🇧 That awkward moment when you are standing on Milan's ground but you deliberately post photos of Rome. Ops.
School started on Monday and so far I feel like that's the thing I was supposed to be all along.
It feels right to finally being able to confront and talk to people who actually share my interest - even if it is hard to avoid comparisons. Some of these people are already amazing photographers and I know I will have to keep focusing on what I am doing more than what they are doing.
Leon is flying to Milan tonight and I can't wait. Long distance sucks incredibly 😅
Leon arriverà stasera a Milano. Non vedo l'ora.
Le relazioni a distanza fanno schifo ♥️ #thehub_admins#lavitainunoscatto#istantindelebili#italiandays#italiainunoscatto#travelinspiration#traveltheworld#travelgram#travellust#wandergram#wanderlust#picoftheday#placestovisit#placestosee#seetoshare#rome#colosseum#cittaeterna#italian_trips#italian_places#shotz_of_italia
I’m obsessed with rugs & textiles, bringing home a rug feels like bringing a piece of that country & its energy w/ me. I recently learned that the tradition of making dowry rugs is fading out and as such these rugs will become significantly rarer to find. Textile whores, take note & book that trip to Turkey ;)(if coming to Istanbul, ping me for a list of the best places to get an authentic rug)
You have to love what you do every single day and I don't mean just your job. Don’t spend your time waiting for things to get better. Life will always be complicated. So learn to be happy right now, otherwise you just may run out of time.🕛✈🙌
The entrance to this cave is underwater. You have to hold your breath for 8 to 10 seconds as the tour guide pushes you under to emerge at the cave. I will not regret it because it was the first time I saw bioluminescent water.
The friendships you make when travelling are truly special. Sometimes you spend time with someone for a week or 24 hours. The experiences and bonds you share are the ones your truly cherish. Cheers to anyone I've ever meet travelling.✈🌎😘
You’re going to realise one day that happiness was never about your house, your car or your job.
One day you are going to realise that happiness is about chasing your dreams, watching that sunrise and following your heart wherever it takes you.💫🌴⛰🌏✈️
Surround yourself around people who encourage you, inspire you and bring out the best in you. 🙌
I'm so happy we got to spend 1 week on this beautiful island and sit back and talk about life.🌴 Check out my girl Elise's photography bussiness @mangos_for_you 📸
If I've learned anything traveling these last 5 months in South East Asia, it has taught me to be more grateful for what I have. I'm very grateful for the country I was born in, we are given so many opportunities in life that others only dream of.🙌💭💫
