Here are a few snippets from my travel to Munnar❤️
With 2018 almost coming to an end, I can guarantee this was one of the best days of the year and a day which I wish would have never ended...
This day was my first trip after a difficult phase in my life and it truly helped me in bringing me out of my shell. The captivating mist which engulfed me as I walked down the hill into the unknown wiped away all the pain I had ever faced till that point. It truly liberated me out of my fears, out of my pain, out of all the griefs in life.
The day started out with immense excitement and we hopped on a bike and began the journey...all the way to Munnar.
We experienced some of the beautiful moments Mother Earth could give us. We witnessed waterfalls, panoramic greenery, sun soaked trees glistening with mist, a group of young wild elephants staggering down a hill, and above all was the view when we reached the Hill Top.
On the way to the Hill Top, while climbing the hill, when we were this close to witness the breathtaking moment, I fell and heard a crunch from my ankle.
I sprained my ankle...
I got disappointed for a second there, but then thought, I haven’t come this far to go back with a wound.
I came here to see the Hill Top, and so my partner helped me up, and we began climbing with my sprained ankle (after a few stretches).
And then there it was, that breathtaking view that engulfed me and changed me, and made me forget all the hurt I experienced.
In a way, I thank all the people who have played a role in my life, bad or good, big or small...

This post is wayyyyyy overdue 😭 Can’t believe it’s been 11 weeks since I got back to Taipei! To celebrate the completion of my master’s degree, the boyfriend took me out to the beautiful @nku_firewood 😍 What’s special about the dishes here is that they are all cooked with firewood, which means all locally sourced ingredients have an additional natural wood aroma. Pictured here are Iberico pork with peanut satay sauce, potato with okra seeds, firewood steak, fresh fish with lemongrass curry, and a smoked radish mushroom soup. The ingredients were treated and cooked very well, but some of the dishes lacked a bit of “umph” to them. Overall a beautiful and classy restaurant with high quality European food. No wonder @michelinguide nominated it 😍
這篇文我真的是拖太久了😭都已經回台北11個禮拜了我才在po剛回來藍朋友帶我去慶祝碩士畢業吃的大餐😍 @nku_firewood 最特別的地方是所有的料理都是用柴火料理, 也就是說所有的食材放入嘴裡時都會有一股自然的柴木香。文中照片分別為花生沙爹伊比利豬, 馬鈴薯佐山葵籽, 柴烤牛排, 檸檬草淡咖哩魚, 和白蘿蔔蘑菇燻烤清湯。所有的食材都處理和烹飪的非常好, 但是幾乎每道菜都讓人覺得少了一點點什麼。不過總體來說還是一間品質很高氣氛又很好的新歐式餐廳。也難怪會被米其林點名囉!
