🏝 K E L I N G K I N G 🌞
After seeing so many IG posts about this place I was so excited to finally be here myself! What sheer beauty! Look at that ocean colour!
However, I had no idea what I was getting myself into in order to reach the beach at the bottom... it was probably one of the toughest experiences both physically and mentally! If you are scared of heights or simply just falling off the side of a cliff... do NOT do this trek! 💦 .
Long hikes into the unfamiliar always remind me to be happy with what I’ve got.
I’ve been able to fit most of what I own in a car since I was 19 when I left home, and I’ve lived in 5 or 6 (at least) different places since then. I’ve had a lot of practice bringing the concept of home with me and releasing the need for material abundance. But truly, long trips in the wilderness with just my backpack and my companion always make me feel so incredibly whole. It strengthens that ability of creating home where you go.
What’s something you’ve learned on a trip? I’d love to hear 💕🌏🌱
My favourite episode of @friends is “the one where Ross is fine.” And my favourite part in that episode is where Ross spells out L-O-V-E and what each letter stands for. 😂
