July 17, 2018. Wires.
It feels as a privilege to talk about all the things in my life. Why? Cause I have the freedom of doing so. The variety of social media helps a lot of people doing this too. We can talk freely about all the stuff that keeps us busy. But it sometimes feels deluded also to still have these feelings of being caged in. To be aware of all those mental wires that keep me away from fearless authenticity. It feels so futile, considered the real wires other people are in, every day. It’s what we call ‘human condition’: the focus on our suffering, nonetheless all the other stuff we (can) experience. My project here, CHA(ngie)LLENGE, (#changiellenge ) feels as a privilege and a bit more like serious business I notice, now I approach the end of my second month of my year in daily selfies (changies) in a few days. Dealing with change is what drives me, visibility is what automatically comes with that and awareness is what I hope it brings. For whomever it may be useful. .
Follow me if you wanna join or follow my ‘CHA(ngie)LLENGE’. An attempt to capture the way ‘change’ unfolds in daily selfies (‘changies’) during one year. Started at May 22, 2018. #changiellenge

Just wanted to give everyone an update. Those interested. Had a rough patch of intense pain at the hospital. Discharged now and recovering at my parents. Pain tolerable. Turns out I had Endometriosis in my uterus and behind it. But the surgeon removed ALL of it. This should be the answer to my pain. A life pain free? I don’t even know what I’d do. I’m grateful for my surgeon and my amazing family and girlfriend @pierce.the.hope I couldn’t have made it through today without her and my mom. #transman#transvisibility#transgender#endo#endometriosis#menwithendo#transition#hysterectomy#hysto#ftm#femaletomale
A very wise yoga teacher once told me “If you stand with one foot in the past and one foot in the future you’ll end up pissing all over the now!” 😂 So this is me trying not to piss over the now which is why I look so serious!! But I’m definitely in a transitional period so past and future are weighing heavy on my mind. As long as I breathe deep and keep my warrior strong I’ve got this 💪🏻
Always good to start off an afternoon with college admissions counselors laughing!

When one of our most supportive social media followers is featured in the Brock News, we not only take note, we happily share what he has to say. So, Joshua Bulfango - this one's for you!
Starting university can feel like taking a big leap. At #BrockU we make that LEAP a little easier and a whole lot more fun! LEAP brings new students to #BrockU for a day or overnight stay where they take part in campus-wide activities, a variety of seminars and workshops from on-campus services and a community outreach experience with a local community organization.
Here's what Josh, a second-year Biological Sciences student from Mississauga had to say about his experience: “LEAP prepared me for what life would really be like here. I used a lot of the on-campus services that we learned about, especially A-Z Learning Services.”
The program also helped Bulfango make some new connections. “During LEAP, I met some really nice people. One of them even became my best friend, even though we are in different Faculties.”
Looking for a similar experience? Sign up for LEAP sessions beginning July 24.
Visit the LEAP website - link in bio - to learn more and register.
Growth and transition are some of the easiest things to talk about, but the hardest things to do. Everyone wants to grow, but it takes a transition of character, greater perspective and a positive attitude to persist through the opposition and tests of patience that bring growth. It's takes a lot of faith to step out in uncertainty to do what you're called to do. It doesn't come without opposition, but it can bring great opportunity. If you want to see results, you've gotta sweat for them.
Better without you😛
