ANOTHER FORMER UKTS STUDENT DOING FANTASTIC WORK – NATIONAL THEATRE UK TOUR
We are thrilled to announce that former UKTS student, Joseph Brown, will be appearing as Malcolm in the National Theatre’s Tour of Macbeth. Congratulations, Joe! We are really delighted for you.
Joe was part of our Musical Theatre Masterclass gaining lead roles over the years in the full-scale UKTS productions. Joe went on to train in London, gaining his BA Acting degree at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Drama.
___________________________ --- JOE’S TESTIMONIAL ABOUT UKTS:
__ "As a working professional actor, I can honestly say that UKTheatreSchool was the most fantastic start to my professional career. It provided me with amazing, professional training in order to fully equip me with the skills and tools to continue my education and prepare me for the professional creative industry.
He continued, “The team of staff were all truly supportive and inspiring; UKTheatreSchool creates a safe, supportive and positive environment, allowing their students to learn and grow as performers. As a disabled actor, I found it difficult to access youth theatre training when I was young. UKTheatreSchool fully supported me in my training in an environment that was fully accessible and inclusive. I could not recommend them enough to the younger generation who are looking at defining existing talent or who are ready to discover something completely new! UKTheatreSchool will help make any child / young person's aspirations and goals a reality!" —-
Wow! We are humbled by Joe’s lovely words and incredibly proud of him. We wish Joe and the National Theatre cast every success with touring the Scottish play!

''If it were done, twere well it were done quickly...'' #macbeth I love this moment, where Macbeth @stonesoupla stays in the shadows, watching #kingduncan#tonyamendola flirting with his wife #ladymacbeth @avery.clyde, but Lady Macbeth can handle herself and she knows what is to come.
#elizabethan#doubledoubletoilandtrouble ...I was Hecate in my grade eight production at Waldorf School :) my gothy waistlength black hair and the fact everyone said I looked like a scary girl I guess made it type casting. Plus it was ig worse adjectives than “scary” but that’s puberty for yeh :/

Let me tell you about this tree.
The Oxford Shakespeare Company performs on location in the setting of each play. So yes we are in the forest of #Scotland .
Here's the best part. This tree is 1000 years old and was around in Shakespeare's time and was an inspiration for the play! This is what this town is known for and they are so proud of it. It is an honor to perform here.💚🎭
