The 50th annual @elsinoregrandprix was awesome! Not that long of a course, but it was still enjoyable. Took home a first in revo and heavyweight, and then a second in the industry class. Having not ridden for two months, it was great to have three days straight of riding and hanging out with friends! Will definitely have to put this on the calendar again in the future.

AINT THAT THE TRUTH
So hubby and I over the last few weeks have had several conversations about dress code, Instagram dressing and mens thoughts on women’s clothing
To be honest it really shouldn’t be talked about so much they way it is. Some may say it isn’t fair how women are always put up for discussion
But the fact is, our dressing / clothing are discussed!
On a particular night we got talking about a picture we had seen and I showed it to him. He went on to say that no guy would wife her and that they would just sleep with her
Someone else got involved in our conversation and said that she actually would find a man and that as much as some may disapprove of her dressing, some would love it
Then hubby stepped in and said, “just because you find a man, it doesn’t mean you find a husband”

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend relaxing or doing something fun! I did lots of shopping, spending time with people I love, & preparing for the upcoming week ahead!
Now, I’m finally getting the chance to relax on the couch with a glass of wine snuggled up with my honey! 💗🍷
Are you prepared for the upcoming week?! I always love planning out my lunches/dinners, and sometimes even my outfits just to make my work week a lot smoother! Also! A must for me is starting the week off with a cleaned up & organized house! What are some things you like to do to prepare for your week ahead?

We know a lot of our friends decided to drive long hours to see the @detroitlionsnfl lose to the @chicagobears, and though we don’t understand why anyone would do such an idiotic thing, we don’t want any of you to come back home being somber. 🔹Today I sat down prior to heading into the gym & set some simple “REALISTIC” goals. After all if you haven’t any set, you really have no big “WOOHOO” moments in your new adventure! So I started with some simple ones. First off was to limit my sweet intake to 2-3 snacks a week (Mon., Wed., Fri. sort of thing) We are not going to deprive ourselves, simply because that is where eating disorders are developed, but learn how to fit them in to our daily life. 🔹My next goal was my weight. I’ve spent the last couple months overindulging on junk to gain some excess fat (plus of an injury) to fully dive in to this as it were new all over! I weighed in at 205 lbs. fully dressed today. So over the next 12 weeks/90 days I’m going to aim for a loss of 12 total pounds mainly “fat” loss, while building lean muscle at the same time. This puts me at a 1 pound loss per week which is very realistic. You guys can aim for 1-2.5 depending on where you’re at, but really shouldn’t aim for any more then that. We want to make this a slow process, done correctly to not only keep the weight off while creating a new habitual lifestyle you not only enjoy, but can maintain. 🔹My last goal was to correct a few bad eating habits. No meals within 2 hours before bed, & if I so do decide to eat we’re going to use vegetables (quick digesting carbs) or some slow digesting proteins for muscle growth & repair while we sleep and recover. Lastly is my obsession with processed carbs & foods. I work ALOT (7 days a week 😅) so I’m constantly looking for foods I can eat quick & on the go. So we’re going to replace/attempt to cut out the man-made junk. Today is Sunday (The Lords Day) so it’s a quick 30 min. Cardio session followed by some stretching! Hope some of this is helpful. It’s been almost five months since @jaime_gialloreto was crowned #MissNewJersey , but that’s how far behind I get on #thegram when I spend a month in Europe 🤷🏼♀️ You’ll see my Fall/Halloween pictures in March! (I’m joking 🤣, but...maybe not 😬😳)
Anywho, she’s fabulous. So articulate and witty and talented and smart and don’t forget beautiful on top of all of it! So proud of her and everything she’s done so far as @missamericanj and we are so happy to add her to the sisterhood!! ❤️
