Are your dashed lines all out of whack? Make sure your PSLTSCALE=1, MSLTSCALE=1 and play with your LTSCALE factor. We like our LTSCALE = 0.5 as it makes the dashed lines a bit smaller. Keep in mind LTSCALE will affect all your lineweights not just 1. REGENALL command after. #autocadtips#autocad
Unboxing and first look at my new compass set from @alandadams2018. I am so grateful to Alan for suggesting I look into better compasses to improve the accuracy of my work and that he was willing to share his amazing and hard-to-come-by knowledge and materials with me.
At the Geometry Summer School at Dumfries House in Scotland a couple weeks ago, I used his compasses, especially the small 3-inch compass for small circles. This is such a valuable gift for any geometer!
Some of my favorites (there are other pieces which I have yet to understand 😬) are the small and large compasses, the ruling pen, the compass point shown at the end of the video, which I learned is for holding your compass in place and not breaking a gaping hole into the paper you’re working on, and the divider with the dual metal points on each end for dividing circles and comparing the divisions’ width.
Also included in this box of magic is a beam compass with a huge capability! Bring in the big pieces!
I am still short on vocabulary to talk about all its contents, but I hope to be able to bring that to you soon. I’m not short on gratitude, love this learning process so thanks to everyone that helps out! Happy drawing! ✍🏻
