Nasdaq Calls to Be Wary of ICO’s.
Adena Friedman, head of Nasdaq, believes that users need to be careful when buying tokens. She said that ICO projects are used to deceive investors at the Future of Fintech conference in New York. The head of a major US stock exchange believes that ICO projects bear serious risks for individual investors because the digital money industry lacks regulation, transparency and accountability. In her opinion, investors are in the zone of greatest risk. Companies conducting ICO‘s are just taking away people's money without providing any data, Friedman has said. In her opinion, in the area of greatest risk are the beginning investors. Companies “can just willy-nilly take people's money” without providing any information, Friedman is sure. "In ICO space none of that is available, and it's all being bought by retail. ...I have real concern on lack of transparency, oversight, and accountability that these companies have as they're going out to raise capital through an ICO." — head of Nasdaq said. Friedman also touched on the issue of regulating the crypto sector. She explained that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requires companies to provide detailed information during the IPO’s. However, this rule does not apply to ICO projects. Therefore, the head of Nasdaq stressed that she shares the SEC's point of view regarding the recognition of ICO’s as being securities.

In the middle of Tokyo’s bustling streets, are these tucked away steep stairs that take you to the Atago Shrine, atop Mt. Atago. The shrine, well known for protection against disasters and fires, holds a story relating to the bestowment of career success dating back to the Edo Period. •
The story goes: On the way back from praying at Zojoji temple, Tokugawa Iyemitsu drawn to the plum flowers at the top of the hill, called upon his men “Who here can ride up and get some of those beautiful plum flower branches for me?” Gazing up at the very steep hill side stairway, the Shogun’s men were not willing to try such a dangerous feat. Amongst them was one man, Magaki Heikuro, who gallantly rode up the stairs on his steed and brought back branches of plum flowers, and was henceforth well known throughout the land for his riding skills and forever blessed with success. •
Looking down from the top of the stairs is almost frightening. At a 40 degree angle, its steepness makes you wonder if it is really possible for anyone to ride up on horseback. History actually shows that there were 3 other occasions when people climbed this stairway on horseback! Although ridiculously steep you can take your time and use the handrails to walk up. The success you gain doesn’t change by the manner of which you choose to climb! •
The Atago Shrine was built in 1603. Atop the shrine you forget that you are in the middle of the city as you are surrounded by trees and Koi fish swimming in ponds. It is truly a hidden gem.
