I spent the entire day today in a classroom at a workshop for ny final CPA module. Needless to say I haven't had a chance to move much today so I was craving the gym afterwards and I headed there right after. I've had SUCH a great workout! I did full body circuits and lots of skipping in between to keep my heary rate up.
Tomorrow is the 2nd day of the workshop for the hole day then I'm hoping to have more of an active rest day and perhaps enjoy some sunshine afterwards.

Plagued with injury this week. I discovered something that I didn’t think would actually happen. I’ve been drinking this shake everyday since January. It’s a vitamin superfood shake. This week I was busy and went 4 days without drinking the shake. I woke up yesterday aching all over, my legs hurt like they never have before. I couldn’t figure it out. I had only ran 8 miles this week total. That’s normal for me. Only two changes I can narrow down are dehydration and potassium deficiency from not drinking my shake. P.S. Can we stop body shaming ourselves about working out!! We don't workout just to lose weight!!! Some of us workout to gain muscle weight 💪🎉 But all in all we should ALL be working out because we all have a HEART ♥️ YES 🙌🙌 working out isn't all about losing weight!
For women as we get older it's harder for us to build muscle so starting now and staying consistent is super important for us and our bones!!! I workout for my own sanity, let's be real 😝
But I also workout so that my muscles support my strong bones 🏋️ And with some family history of heart issues it's super important for be to keep my heart strong 💓

Invest in yourself and your dreams. In the end, you will be rewarded. It might feel like the progress is slow, but it eventually adds up and once you see it from bigger picture, you'll be happy you haven't stopped. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let's face it. You will not be motivated every day. Some days, it takes a little more effort to get out of bed and put the work in. BUT if you do it consistently day after day, you will develop a dedication. Have your goals in mind to help you get up and get going. If you do it consistently every day, it becomes a habit. Then you will not question how high your motivation is, it's going to be automatic reaction. It's my every day now. My alarm is set every day for the same time and I can't even imagine my morning going any other way.
