Such an amazing weekend of racing in Durango. Incredibly proud of all our racers. They put it all on the line and gave their absolute best.
It’s an honor to be involved, to have the opportunity to coach, and to watch their progress through the season. I saw so many incredible performances at this final race of the season. From digging deep, to sprint finishes, it was absolutely spectacular to watch!
Fairview took 2nd place overall for the season, with Boulder taking the win and Golden coming in 3rd. Congratulations to all the teams and racers, it’s been a stellar season!

I think I talked to her about her race for at least an hour and a half yesterday (had her captive in the car). She blew me away with her strength, tenacity, grit and response to the course. I am so proud of her. And so overwhelmed by all the synonyms that mean amazed and impressed and love. #sophomore#highschoolmountainbiking#BHS#statechampionships#durango

Today we were chaperones and on prop duty. As a result we’re treated to a very unique view of the show. Being up close and on the field , we were able to appreciate the little details that go into their performance.
To top off the evening the prop I was stationed at was within 10 yards of Joey. Pic on the left was in the end zone and the pic on the right was before their final performance.
We couldn’t be more proud, they finished 4th of 42 total schools.
We’re on our way to state today with two State Championship titles on the line. (Boys and girls) The boys have a firm lead but the girls have to work hard, and my girl is one of them! The window are painted and ready to go! 🎉🏆🏅🏃🏃🏃♀️ Go Team! #crosscountryrunning#xc#run#statechampionships
National level 3 superstars at State Championships. Lots of gold, silver and bronze. Well done to the team of Paige, Taja, Teale and Elizabeth for bringing home bronze in the team competition!!! We couldn’t be more proud of the girls and their amazing coach Breanna!
I don’t know who that bloke is on the right but he looks like he’s enjoying him self 😂. In all honesty back stage the social ness, the politeness and the good sportsman’s ship was on point!. I enjoyed being on stage giving my performance as much as I did back stage just talking shit 😂😂😂.
Congrats to these two rockstars on a stellar season! @brie.kate finished T-44 at state this year and @corynn___mcdonald finished T-51. As a team the @sta_golf team finished 6th overall. Great year ladies! Proud of all your work!
HUGE congrats to @sophia_martone, one of our athletes at @parisiraleigh who will be competing at the upcoming state championships as a sophomore!!! Very proud of you & all the progress you’ve made over the past several months! 🏌🏻♀️🏆 📸: @wvmjr #finishwell#statechampionships#golf#futurepro

I remember when I was a poor apprentice in Victoria, I was nothing really. Just a naughty boy that had a lot to learn. I’ll never forget what one of mentors said to me who became a good friend of mine. He said “you got what it takes”. That stuck with me ever since he said those words to me, through all negativity, hardship, pain, growth, despair “you got what it takes”. His words are in my head every day, when I train, when I work, when I study. “You got what it takes”. And you know what ?. ... I do .. and so do you 😇🙏
What a massive weekend at State Championships! It was so great to see everyone pushing themselves to do their best and encouraging each other. ✨ I walked away with three gold and two silver medals for my efforts; along with 3 unexpected PBs!! Can safely say after two more weeks of training I’ll be ready to hit the pool at the Pan Pacific Masters Games 🔥#countdownison#PPMG18#statechampionships
