Smashing leg day at @davidbartongym. I find squats really difficult because of my poor hip mobility and hamstring flexibility but I’m motivated to keep improving👊 On the plus side, trying out new equipment is always fun. DELOAD - oder auch: einfach mal einen Gang runterschalten. -
Das Wort "Deload" habt ihr bestimmt schon ab und an in der IGStory aufgeschnappt(so wie momentan😜).Aber was bedeutet das eigentlich? 
Kurz gesagt:Während der Deload-Phase (in der Regel 1 Woche) wird das Volumen oder/und die Intensität runtergeschraubt, sodass ihr zb nur die Hälfte der Sätze absolviert(=halbes Volumen) o die Intensität deutlich runterschraubt (zB nur 50% des Arbeitsgewichts=halbe Intensität). Das ganze macht im Rahmen einer langfristig gesehenen Trainingsplanung Sinn, denn: Beim intensiven Training häuft ihr mit der Zeit Erschöpfung an & sowohl die Muskulatur, Gelenke, die passiven Strukturen (Sehnen, Bänder usw) als auch das ZNS werden stark belastet.Durch die größer werdende Erschöpfung kann es zu Leistungsplateaus kommen - kaum/kein Fortschritt mehr, man fühlt sich schlapper etc.
An dieser Stelle kommt der Deload: er dient dazu, dem Körper volle Zeit zur Regeneration zu geben, sodass man danach vollständig erholt wieder Vollgas im Training geben kann. Langfristig gesehen reduziert man so die Verletzungsgefahr & was gibt's besseres, als auf lange Sicht ohne Einschränkungen den Sport machen zu können?! Richtig - nichts.😊
Es macht vllt nicht unbedingt Spaß - ich kenne es von mir selber, dass ich oftmals schon nach der Hälfte der Deloadwoche wieder ganz normal ins Training will - aber die Power die man danach wieder hat macht das wieder gut.😏 - 
Ich gestalte meine Deloads so,dass ich in regelmäßigen Abständen (i.d.R. alle 4-5 Wochen) 1 komplette Deloadwoche einlege, in der ich in der 1.Hälfte bei jeder Übung die Sätze halbiere/reduziere & in der 2. Hälfte das Gewicht halbiere bei normaler Satzzahl & in der Zeit komplett auf Koffein verzichte. #scheißtoleranzentwicklung -

*Disclaimer: You can have scapular winging and be asymptomatic. If you're having symptoms then it MAY play a role.

💡 Scapular winging can occur for a variety of different reasons whether its loss of proprioception/neuromuscular control following shoulder injuries, nerve injuries and/or lack of motor control. There is a lot of movement being coordinated at the scapular to help facilitate that overhead motion. Here are some of the drills I've used myself and on others to help facilitate that motion as well as strength the muscles involved in it.

✔ 1/2.) Foam roller against the wall without and with band: The cue for this one is going to be pushing into the wall foam roller as you move up the wall, this engages the serratus anterior which stabilizes the scapula as you move overhead.

✔ 3/4/5.) Scapular muscle strengthening with physio ball: Push into the ball, this is already going to be challenging your scapular muscles. You can increase the challenge by adding a dynamic component or manipulating the range of motion as shown.

👊🏼 These are the basics but basics work! The one cue I like to use is to reach as you are pressing up. That 'reach' cue really helps to drive control of the serratus anterior which is responsible for stabilization and protraction. Feel free to tag a friend that can benefit from some of these drills!

Scapular muscle strengthening with physio ball: Push into the ball, this is already going to be challenging your scapular muscles. You can increase the challenge by adding a dynamic component or manipulating the range of motion as shown. . 👊🏼 These are the basics but basics work! The one cue I like to use is to reach as you are pressing up. That 'reach' cue really helps to drive control of the serratus anterior which is responsible for stabilization and protraction. Feel free to tag a friend that can benefit from some of these drills!

 Un paio di mesi dopo aver scattato questa foto ho iniziato ad allenarmi in una palestra commerciale, seguendo i classici allenamenti da principiante. I miei amici fuori dalla palestra durante i primi anni che mi allenavo mi prendevano in giro e dicevano che potevo anche smettere perché la palestra non faceva per me.
A 18 anni con un peso corporeo di 75kg partecipai alla mia prima competizione di strongman, del campionato italiano.
Adesso sono campione italiano da due anni nella categoria sotto i 90KG (bw) PRO, quest anno ho deciso di mettermi in gioco contro i BIG nella categoria con un peso corporeo al disotto dei 105kg.
Se ci sono riuscito io, credo possa farcela chiunque!! ✌️

New pb today 220kg deadlift felt lovely despite how red my head went! I’m at it 4 x a week with my coach @samwattfitness twelve weeks in to this power lifting journey, mentally helping me, physically helping me, I was 107kg when I started I’m just under 100kg right now still got my pop belly but my fat % is dropping and my power is making crazy gains! Going to keep beltless and no straps on all my lifts for now as we feel I have a lot more to go before small extras that make a big difference when I compete come in to play. Every session I learn a new step in my ritual! Love this shit man 👍🏽👊🏽💪🏽💯
