Ironic ad placement.
Something lost control in the garage where we were getting a tire swapped.
I just wish I knew what shattered the window inside the garage.
LP, who is not the judgemental sort, did not wonder.
Went go karting with by bros @ninjacatracing and @solarochan . POV from @ninjacatracing while I was the kart in front. Idiot in front of me in the yellow helmet was clearly slower than us as we have already lapped him once. Idiot decided to try to block me from passing by turning into me and running me into the guard rails. But he ended up spinning out as he had no idea how to drive! 😂🤣

"Spinout had just started playing the L.A. clubs when Richie and Wilder graduated from CalArts and got their first house in Los Angeles, on Pico and Norton, a no man’s land in the midsection of the city above the Santa Monica Freeway. At night their mattresses shuddered with tectonic bass tones from Jewel’s Catch One, an underground disco next door. At dawn, spectacular drag queens would spill onto the sidewalk to mingle with the bag people of Pico. Carloads of Crips patrolled the contested territory around Pico and Crenshaw and the young painters would often walk onto the sidewalk in the morning to find fresh bullet scars in the side of the building."
In the above image, the fictional trio SIR DRONE shares lunch in the summer of 1989 in Art Byington’s vacant studio in the building on the corner of Pico and Norton. When Pettibon contacted Kelley to star in SIR DRONE, Kelley in turn recruited his young charges from CalArts to round out the cast, not least because their Pico flophouse suited the film’s titular band. Mike Kelley wears his iconic "I'm Mellow" t-shirt; Richie Lee wears the first t-shirt for his band Spinout; and Mike Watt bellows at both of them like a bear-sized Moe Howard. Screening at 8pm TONIGHT at NOW INSTANT IMAGE HALL on York Blvd. Preceded by a reading from HADLEY LEE LIGHTCAP, and followed by a Q&A with guitarist-tuba player-raconteur Mark Lightcap, who met Richie Lee and Mike Kelley when they were all CalArts babies in the Reagan era and tells better stories about them than anyone I’ve ever met.
Congratulations to my little homie for his year 6 farewell 🎉 The first thing he asked me when I showed up was if I was jealous that he rocked up in a brand new Ferrari 🙄 I lied straight to his face and said no 😏 still only feels like yesterday I was going to the hospital to meet you for the first time ❤️ #farewell#brothers#ferrari#spinout#littleshit
