Definite #humpday feels! Waiting for a big weekend of events and running with the squad! Pic from the #spartanultra from the first lap when the water was still clean and the exit wasn’t a complete pile of sludge! Climbing towards the end of the week! •

Had a great time at the @spartanrace Super with the homey @rckmjntc17. One more race and I will be an official member of the @spartan #TrifectaTribe . My @spartanrace Beast takes place in November. I am super hype.
Spartan Race Jablines
This was without a doubt my best year as a competitive athlete, and not just because of my small collection of shiny @spartanrace triangles😆.
After 9 months of consistent training I am going into the fall injury free, which might be a first for me! I believe that my improvements this year can be traced back to smarter workouts, anxiety free recovery, and quality eating habits. In my past I have overtrained, feared rest, and ate like a bear in a dumpster🐻. Changing those three things has not only made me a better athlete, but also a healthier person.
I thank God for that gift of health, knowing that in the greater scheme of things this body is temporary and limited. I’m going to run hard while I have it, and learn from my pain while I can, all the while knowing that we have only been given a glimpse of the better things to come😀
💪🏽Are You Tough Enough?💪🏽
A big part of #toughmudder is facing fears and taking on challenges that at first seem scary. Dunking under water, getting electrocuted, heights, ice dunks, you name it! The difference is you have a legion by your side and we are all #toughertogether Team work makes the dream work! Catch me running with team @eattrek on Saturday!
What are some of your fears?
Has Tough Mudder made you face them?

The time is now for you to stop doubting, stop fretting over the past failures and start leaning in to all of your incredible wins. Lean in to who you are, what makes you tick, what makes you smile, what lights the fire within you and get’s you excited.
To re-discover your child like energy who was always willing to give it a go, even if it meant falling over a few times in the process
Yesterday, for instance, I choose to tap into my #spartanrace energy for my run. Wearing my t-shirt and reminding myself of all the races I have run, all the walls I have hurtled myself over, all the mud I have waded through, all the finish lines I have crossed. 💥
This in its self, allowed me to run faster, to feel the strength in my legs, to allow myself to go all in and find enjoyment through pushing myself onwards even when it hurt and that hill felt damn hard.
Always look for ways to tap into your own magic.
