Repeating images of an article of interest 3 times shows how much I love it! Read so much about #dopadopa that I jumped at the chance to have it today after having lunch across the road. Today's flavours tried were #avocado#greentea Toasted Rice, Home Roasted #Hazelnut and #Lemon Basil #Sorbet . My companion can vouch how much I adore the ice cream by the number of times I exclaimed 'delicious!'. Definitely will go back for pistachio and other flavors AGAIN!
I myself am an occasional drinker and with that, prefer quality rather than quantity. If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying @farmerswifedistillery Autumn Dry Gin, it’s just superb. As I am always wanting to share things I love, today I whipped up a dairy free sorbet for our students, with a splash of this Native inspired botanical beauty. I didn’t measure ingredients really, just threw in a blender; coconut cream, coconut condensed milk, loads of lime flesh, some of last seasons frozen finger lime pearls & a good splash of @farmerswifedistillery Gin 👌 popped into the kitchenAid ice cream bowl for 20 mins or so then into the freezer overnight / no ice cream churner? just blend, freeze for a few hours, blend again and freeze overnight in an airtight container. 🍋 The first two pics are of their current flavor, passion fruit yuzu.
🍦 The ice cream is always mildly sweet, made with high quality, fresh ingredients, and provides subtle, authentic flavors with a slightly grainy, icy texture. It’s definitely healthier than most other ice creams/sorbets, but I love it. That said, there are certain flavors that have underwhelmed me, while others make me return on a daily basis.
All-time favorite flavors: 📸 tieguanyin (iron goddess of mercy tea) with saffron, earl grey, 📸 banana, 📸 guava, tiramisu, brown sugar with rum, and strawberry

The only flavors I’ve ever been disappointed by are matcha and hojicha (which happen to be two of my absolute favorite things, so those were sad days... but I love this shop for all the other deliciousness!) .
🍵 I also recommend: their matcha and tieguanyin lattes. Not too sweet, but perfectly comforting flavor. Furthermore, their ginger and red bean soups are great on cold days.
The decor is gorgeous, the music relaxing. Tidbits from from world travels line the walls, and overall the shop has a 🌿🏝🏄♀️🌺🌾 vibe.
🕘 This shop is open sort of late some days, which makes it a perfect place to grab dessert after dinner! Check google maps for their exact opening times.

Creamy mango and mother-in-law spice sorbet!
I'm told KZN enjoys a bit of spice with their mango and pineapple, green or ripe and I have to agree, it's delicious.
All our sorbets are vegan friendly and we offer dairy and egg free ice cream and gelato options as well.
Flavours available depending on seasonal fluctuations. Delivery in Stellenbosch or Cape Town (20 km radius from CBD) otherwise additional charges apply.

Over in the German Town side of Nashville is an exceptional restaurant called @cityhousenashville . I got the oxtail sugo over grits and my friend got the catfish with a cauliflower sugo. The appetizer is carrots and garbanzo beans in a light sauce. The cookie plate was fantastic for dessert for two and consisted of Sorgum ginger espresso cookie, wedding anise cookie, chocolate sea salt cookie, chocolate chili cookie, and ginger snap cookie. And because I can't say no to an amazing house made sorbet we got that too!!! The sorbets are a rhubarb and Concord along with a mint, vanilla, ginger sorbet.
