Let me educate some people this morning. There is still some confusion about the massage therapy industry. Donโ€™t get me wrong, Iโ€™m not saying one is better or more beneficial than the others, theyโ€™re all just different. The massage stigma is getting better but there are still some uneducated people that need to know about this. There is a huge difference between a masseuse and a massage therapist. A masseuse is a fancy word for a prostitute that gives a rub down with a happy ending. Whereas a massage therapist is a business professional, who has been educated about the body, who works the soft tissue and improves the overall quality of the patients lives; not using any sexual acts at all. To go even further, there are many different types of massage therapists as well nowadays depending on what the client is looking for. Basically, times have changed since the old days when you would go to a masseuse to get rubbed down with a happy ending. My goal is to change this stigma about the industry and educate everyone about this. to Use the term โ€œMasseuseโ€ wisely. ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ Educate yourself.
