My bulking phase ends today! I weighed in this morning. I’m up 6kg from last summer!! 😱😂

I’ve loved eating all the foods - my appetite is endless hehe. 🙈It’s been awesome seeing my strength develop as my baby muscles began poppin’! (I might not look that buff to you but this is by the far the most muscle mass I’ve ever had and for that I am proud) 💪🏽 However, it wasn’t all positive. At times I wanted to stop and shrink back down in size. Sometimes societal pressures to be “skinny” would make me question what I was doing. But you know what? Fuck societal expectations!!! You do you boo! 😘
I’m glad I stuck it out. Sometimes you have to get uncomfortable to be comfortable. I’ve never felt more badass and empowered in my life! And I got to admit...it’s been nice having boobs again lol 🤣
Now I’m intending to do a mini shred. Aiming to lose approximately 2kgs before Christmas. I’m a fan of my triple S approach - slow, simple & sustainable so that’s what I’m going to implement.
The little changes I’m going to make to work towards this goal will be to reintroduce regular cardio/HIIT sessions which I’m super excited about because I LOVE cardio! Also I’m going to focus on increasing my NEAT levels and probably go from about 6 meals a day down to 5. But we’ll see. For now my calorie deficit will mostly come from my calorie expenditure rather than any significant changes through intake. Otherwise I get hangry af. 😜
There’s no more basic way to develop strength in your upper body than by pulling yourself up to a bar.
Once you’ve mastered this at body weight and can do multiple sets of multiple reps then add some weight to make it more challenging, develop more strength and force the muscles in your back to keep growing.
If you don’t have a belt then I recommend wrapping a resistance band around your waist and feeding a dumbbell through it. You can then use your legs to lock the dumbbell in place! 💪
Cardio just isn’t my thing. However combining weight training with HIIT (body conditioning) works wonders, providing it’s done effectively •
You’ll catch me doing a PACK45 once, maybe twice a week incorporating challenging exercises to shed body fat, work on endurance and overall health (again once done properly) •

This exercice makes my glutes in fire 🔥 ! New exercice for me, since few weeks so little weight (10kg each side). I can tell you those big muscles are screaming. I can tell you also my partner @ben_riviera was crying during this one! 😁👌🏼
