We know that Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (sa) have taught us not to disclose our spiritual shortcomings and our sins in public. This is a horrible practice and should be avoided. We should instead pray for forgiveness for our sins and keep them hidden. Allah Also Hides the sins so it is not fair for one to spread the sins of others and in fact they themselves indulge in sin by doing so.
In fact, the Prophet Muhammad (saw) has said :
"All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to other people" (Sahih Bukhari, Book 78, Chapter 60)
At the same time, we are taught not to conceal the truth, even if it is against ourselves. We must always speak the truth and say the straight forward word. As Allah Tells us in the Qur'an:
"O Ye who believe! Be strict in observing justice, and be witnesses for Allah, even though it be against yourselves or against parents and kindred" (Holy Qur'an, 4:136)
It is obvious that if there is a sin that we do not need to reveal, then we should conceal it. If we do reveal it, it is only publicizing sin and will cause corruption in the society. However, at the same time, if we conceal a sin when there is a need to reveal it, we deprive someone of their right as our partner just to save ourselves. Our partner should know the shortcomings which are relevant in making their biggest life decision. If we hide something and they later find out, it will seem as if you betrayed them and bring about many problems in your family.
When it is asked as to which shortcomings are relevant and significant, and when to reveal them, then we are aware that this depends and should be decided with righteousness because Allah States that "O Ye who believe! Fear Allah and speak the Straight Word" (Holy Qur'an 33:71). Secondly, the shortcomings discussed should not be spread because the Prophet (sa) made it clear that "Meetings are confidential" (Abu Dawud, Book 43, Chapter 37)

Prophet Yusuf [Joseph] - A Prisoner, A Dream Analyst And Finally A King Of Egypt. The Prophet Ya'qub (peace be upon him) had twelve sons and one of them was called Yusuf (Joseph) whose life is full of many interesting: happenings. He was a handsome and smart boy with polite habits and polished manners. He bore a sound character. He had an attractive personality. The Prophet Ya'qub (peace be upon him) had a deep affection for his son, Yusuf who occupied a rank of remarkable distinction among his brothers. His brothers began to feel jealous of him. They became united against Yusuf and hatched a plan to do to get him away.
Vision of Prophet Yusuf and its Interpretation:
When the Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) became a teenager, he had a special vision. He rushed towards his father to inform him about it. He dreamt that there were eleven stars with the moon and the sun kneeling in front of him. The Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) was much excited to see this fantastic dream. His heart was beating fast while he was breaking the news to his father. The Holy Qur'an describes:
"Yusuf said to his father: O' my father! I have indeed seen in a dream eleven stars and the sun and moon making obeisance to me." (12: 4)
On hearing about this vision the Prophet Ya'qub (peace be upon him) whisperingly advised his son not to inform it to his brothers because of their jealousy. He had sound reasons to fear that they would plot against him. The Prophet Ya'qub (peace be upon him) interpreted that Yusuf was destined to become a great personality. Allah (swt) would give him wisdom, grace and honour. He would enable him to read into the future. To crown all he would become a Prophet. His eleven brothers (the stars) and his father and mother (the sun and moon) would stand in need of him and bow to his dignified position. The Holy Qur'an relates:
"He (Ya'qub) said: O' my dear son! Tell not your brethren of your vision lest they should plot against you because surely Satan is the manifest enemy of man. So your Lord shall prefer you and will teach you the interpretations of dreams and will perfect His favours upon you and upon the family of Ya'qub as

Dreams of Changing
The more we move towards day dreaming, the more we move away from being realistic. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t lose the dream of changing and overcoming bitter realities by becoming drowning in them. - Alireza Panahian

-My Soul Longs for Home- Empty feeling. My heart yearns for the sight of the two domes. When will my eyes, my sight, my ears, my senses feel the love of this Holy Land. For every year, I beg my Lord, has the time come? Will I receive an invitation from the Holy Land. From Sayed al-Shuhada. Please, my soul can’t bear being away from the Holy Sight. As if I can’t breathe anymore. I know. I’m aware. It makes sense. Now, I recognize. When your servants call out your name. O’Hussain! O’Abbas! O’Ali! And I swear by your names. I am physically away from home. But my soul is at home. When will I reunite with Heaven? When will I reunite with the Kings of Paradise? When will my desperate soul reunite with the land of Karbala?
Thanks for the b'day wishes! Apparently, I'm being kidnapped for more fun down in Laguna Beach tonight, despite deadlines. Ah well, I'll write fast! Also, these are my new 3D-printed glasses! (so 21st Century of me). I'm writing a story about them. I love covering 3D-print tech. Printers can even churn out 3D lenses for glasses now. Wow.
