I hate being put in a box. People always think you should act a certain way or look a certain way because that’s what “THEY” are used to. Recently, I’ve had to redefine what it means to live out loud, to be bold, to be daring, and to truly grab life by the horns and LIVE. I don’t have all the answers, but the answers I do have, I try to share them. So here’s what I learned about living out loud:
1. Say YES to the shit that scares you. Even the small things....haircuts, piercings, new experiences they all have lessons..... find the lesson and let it shape you.
2. The shit you can’t change, you might as well embrace it, and if you can change it, be bold enough to do something about it. You get 1 shot to live this life, I’ll be damned if I’m going to spend it complaining.
3. They can talk about you, they can screenshot you, and they may even clown you, but they can’t take away what’s inside of you! Life is 100% about you! Your love, your vision, your knowledge, are all priceless. Increase the feels, the joys, & the experiences of life. .
NUTRITION Day #1 : Carbohydrates (aka carbs)
Carbs are important for maintaining optimal health, despite the bad rap they sometimes get in the media. There have been all kinds of low carb diets, and while there are benefits to monitoring carb intake, it’s important to know that there is an optimal range for you as an individual. To help you decide what feels best, it’s important to understand the key Carb groups: simple, complex and fiber.
Simple carbs are absorbed quickly by the body and rapidly raise blood sugar levels. These are found in things like highly processed and packaged foods, sugary baked goods, sweets, white bread, pasta, candies, sodas, and juices. Excess simple carbs lead to a variety of health problems, like high blood pressure and diabetes, thus these should be a limited part of a healthy diet. ~~
Complex carbohydrates take longer to process, which means that they don’t cause as much of a spike in blood sugars. Complex carbs can be found in things like beans, whole grains and vegetables. These can be more moderately incorporated into a regular diet to help promote digestion and overall health. ~~
Fiber is a type of carbohydrate which can’t be broken down by the body for energy. The benefit of fiber in the diet is that it promotes healthy and regular digestion. Fiber is found in plants and plant-based foods. It’s important to incorporate some fiber into your daily diet for optimal wellness.
•Do you want to know what’s super cool?
Yes. I have gained around 20 lbs in the last few months. My body has gone through a lot of hormonal and physical changes in a very short time. Paired with poor food choices, lots of treats, and inconsistency; I know exactly why I am where I am. •To answer the original question, what’s cool is that I have every single tool I need to be successful in sluffing off this extra weight! I’m not missing a single component thanks to Beachbody and their incredible lineup of creators and mentors. What they can’t provide is self love. That’s something that takes a lot of personal development and time. And trust me when I say, I’m still a work in progress. Some days I think I’m beautiful from head to toe and from my innermost core out. Other days I’m not so nice to myself. You’ve been there. You know what those words feel like. Not fun. The recent happenings have had me reflecting a lot on myself and all that I’ve been through. And not even just infertility, but also my weight loss, my relationship with Jonathan, Colt, and just everything! It’s so empowering. Today is a good day. One that I love myself inside and out. I will say, it helps to have a husband that sees through my insecurities and flaws. He genuinely loves me and thinks I’m beautiful. That’s also empowering.
•What stumps me is that so many of us refuse to accept those tools into our belt. We neglect ourselves: mind, body, and soul. Why do we do that? Are we truly too busy to invest in ourselves? I don’t think so. •Today I encourage you to fuel yourself with love and kind words and move your body for at least 10 minutes. Nourish your mind and body, and the rest will follow.

Anyone else feel down in the dumps during wintertime? ❄️ I am a sunshine ☀️ girl, unlike my ice and cold loving husband, so pair the chilly temps with early darkness 🌙 and for me it’s a recipe for sad and gloom. .
A few things help me adjust during this season, though it took me years to figure it out. Hopefully some of these help you too if you feel the same way! .
1️⃣Do not start or end your day with news, whether it be social media or television. I make this a rule in general. Ever since my mom died, I just don’t watch the news anymore. I would love to hear the good stuff but unfortunately as soon as you turn the news on - the negatives come first. Whether you are actively tuned in or not, those stories make an impression on your memory and cognitive functioning. Wait at least a few hours so you can have some peace before watching the news (if you have to), and don’t end your day with watching it before bedtime. Replace nighttime tv and cell phone usage with books, puzzles, brain games, or a game of scrabble with your love.
2️⃣Unfollow the negative stories or people who post negative stories. I love to open Facebook or instagram and see babies, wedding pictures, family pictures, and dogs 🐶🙂. The problem is once you open your social, you don’t know what is going to pop up. If you are already an anxious person, have a lot of stress going on, not sleeping, grieving, or a mom (just throwing that out there), you don’t need that crap! Don’t look at it, don’t follow people who post it, don’t give light to it. If that means you have to unfollow someone you care a lot about, so be it. It’s your own health you need to take care of and you don’t need to see stuff that is going to make you feel sad, scared, or depressed.
3️⃣Don’t share the bad news. - This one is huge. I attended an Active Shooter presentation at work once and the thing that stuck out to me most was

✴️ I’ve been to the gym and ate really well today, after doing a proper weigh in at the gym! I have gained a couple of LB’s and I’m not going to hate myself for it... because I can loose it again before Christmas. Do I know why? Yes probably the beer and crisps I consumed over the weekend 🐷. Had a fab time though so that’s all that matters ✴️
😏✴️😏I know that this time of year is sooo good for yummy food😮 and finding new and better vegan foods I feel I just have to eat everything and the excuse of “it’s Christmas” ❄️🎄shouldn’t be okay on the 10th of December 😂... so a little more self control, not buying crisps ( because they don’t make me feel good after and they certainly don’t fill me up) 🥔 & drinking hell of a lot more water and teas is also key!😏✴️😏

✨È igienica, molto più di un comune assorbente/salvaslip o tampone, lasciando inalterati il grado d'umidità e la flora batterica vaginale
✨È veramente anti-odore, anti-irritazioni, anti-secchezza, anti-perdite (per quest'ultima affermazione può servire inizialmente un po' di pratica nell'inserirla, ma nulla di impossibile!)
✨È tassata come gli assorbenti (quindi in Italia al 22%) ma vuoi mettere la differenza tra il pagarla una volta al mese e una ogni dieci anni?
✨È discreta, che tu sia al mare, in piscina, in palestra... E va svuotata al massimo ogni 8 ore (il tempo varia dalla capienza e dal flusso). Non so tu, ma quando usavo gli assorbenti ogni 4 ore sentivo la necessità di cambiarlo o se non altro "controllare la situazione". Ora, davvero, quasi mi dimentico di averla inserita.
✨ È semplice da pulire, basta far bollire dell'acqua in un pentolino (che può essere utilizzato esclusivamente per questa procedura, se preferite) e lasciarla in acqua bollente per circa 5 minuti. Questa procedura va svolta prima dell'inserimento il primo giorno di ciclo, dopodiché basta svuotarla e sciacquarla con acqua. È consigliabile ripetere l'operazione in acqua bollente prima di riporla dopo la fine delle mestruazioni.
