The weather was AMAZING today so we spent the entire day at @seaworldtexas for Halloween Spooktacular! We enjoyed trick or treating around the park, watched the Elmo and Pets Ahoy Halloween shows, and went through a hay maze. The boys had a blast so you’ll probably catch us there again next weekend. 😉🙌🏼
Guys. This place. Get your booty to happy hour at OCHO. The vibes alone are worth the trip. But the chorizo mac n cheese paired with the fried fish taquitos will take your tastebuds to another level of culinary nirvana. So good. #InstaSATX
This is a photo of my daughter Norah Belle Alvarado, my little NBA. Some time back I made a decision to take massive action with a life I was unhappy with. I changed my safe, secure bank job and began my journey as a fulltime student trying to get a degree. A dream formed when I realized that I could possibly find a school where I could coach sports AND teach P.E. classes during the school day (very unheard of, they said). It became that much sweeter to realize I would have the ability to develop my own child in the same place.
Working hard to pursue that goal became my mission - night and day I was obsessed about accomplishing this dream!
They said I was going to have to teach Math or English. They said I wouldn't be happy at a private school. They said I would never get to motivate AND coach athletics to my students.
They said it couldn't be done.
Four awesome and unbelievable years later, I have done the impossible.
I kept working extremely hard until I found a place that was perfect to build a foundation for my coaching and my family. Accomplishing that goal maybe be my biggest accomplishment.
I am absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, working my dream job.
YOU can do it also. You should be doing something you love - not just working some job, but a career where you absolutely, without a doubt, love what you're doing.
The first step is taking action and mixing your life up!
Rise up, Hero! YOU CAN DO THIS.
