I rode with the big girls today.
Cocked up clipping in & had to chase the pack from the start.
It was so fast in places.
Made a VERY ILL ADVISED solo effort and spent the final lap chasing to get back on.
Had nothing left for the sprint and rolled in 8s after the winner.
I came 12/16 which considering my plan for this race was to not get lapped is actually pretty good.
Equally the worst and best thing I’ve done. Can’t wait for the next one.
I was worried by Fitness wouldn’t be up to it. Turns out that’s not the case. It’s my woeful gameplay and inability to keep my line.
Major props to @transition_cycle_coaching for getting me to the finish line.
A S-WORKS weekend is always a great weekend 🙃 Looking forward for this Tarmac to scorch Indian tarmac.
