Hey friend, I hope you're enjoying your Sunday. Don't forget to get some rest. There'll always be something more you can do, another email to send, another comment to reply to, it never ends, I get it. My hope for you is that you feel you have permission to rest, and to take at least 1 or 2 days 100% off. You'll be way more productive, and be able to stay in the game for the long run.
Use technology to your advantage. For example:
Schedule your social posts, so they automatically get posted during your days off, without you having to press "post".
Setup your weekend autoreply to say that your away until Monday, and if there's an urgent emergency, to contact your company's support email, emergency hotline etc. Most weekend emails can usually wait until you're back to work anyway.
If you need to, try deleting/uninstalling certain work apps from your phone during your day off.
Enjoy your day(s) off. Your body, your family, your team, and your customers will thank you for it!

Throwback to Social Media Marketing World and a nugget o’ wisdom from the great @amyporterfield talking about getting over yourself and just doing a Facebook LIVE (she said it way nicer than that! She’s just the best amirite?
Getting less likes than you want on your posts? Here how the Instagram algorithm works - the more people who like your post, or spend time looking at it, the more Instagram will show your post to different people. It rewards great posts based on user feedback. It's actually a great system because it rewards good content.
If you don't have an Instagram Business Account, you need one. It gives you a ton of great info, but this screen is my favorite. What have I posted that has done the best? This information is available for Posts and Stories, you can sort by time many impressions, likes, and comments.
So this screen tells me that the algorithm rewarded posts that people really liked, and these were the posts people liked the most. Not me dressing up like Aladdin and snowboarding down a mountain, because that isn't even top 10. None of the posts where I write words on the image. None of the videos I made except for the one with my grandmother.
This helps me figure out and plan for future content. Fun (and funny) posts win. Clearly faces do best. Gallery posts seem to do well. Famous people in my photos is something people like to see.

In a nutshell, ‘Vlogging’ has an inherent value over blogging in this particular market, different people prefer to consume information in different ways. The clicks that video gets over simple text will continue to increase for the predictable future. The great news is, however, there is no real reason that you need to choose one over the other. The best method to reaching the most people is to blog with videos and text and choose the medium based on the subject matter.
Think of social media engagement as a long-term relationship. You’re committed & it takes a lot of dedication, the capability of thinking about the future, willingness to adjust, & make sure that the other party involved in this relation is also happy and satisfied for now & for years ahead.
It is not an easy task to produce genuine engagement, you have to be engaging according to your business niche, the “like my page” approach doesn’t work as effectively as you might think. Let’s start with the A.B.C.D. of the social media engagement.

Make sure that customer feedback is heard & your communication process is complete. Users usually trust the businesses who reply within 2-4 hours. Even if you have got a little engagement through queries, don’t miss the future opportunities by neglecting them.
One of the most attractive yet old-fashioned ways to engage prospects is offering discount cards or coupons. Experiment with different upcoming events like national holidays, or festivals, or if your brand’s nature allows you, go for a personalized gift/discount on birthdays.
