"So sometimes it's better not to be successful and well known and you can get away with much more. I knew what I was stealing 30 years ago but it didn't matter because no one cared." #richardprince

I find inspiration in the strangest places. This time, scrolling through Instagram and coming across video of a Harry Styles concert with an entire stadium full of fans singing like a choir. I wouldn't say I had chills, but nearly.
When I first opened up this picture, I wanted to write about some of the challenges I've faced in the past 6 months trying to ramp up ArtDrunk - mainly the challenge of people. Nice people, mean people, slow people, fast people. It wasn't about good or bad people, rather that people stood in the way. Things take much longer than planned - always. There are hoops to jump through, relationships to build, and so forth. It takes time.
Watching the video was encouraging though. The thunderous echoes of the united voices. You could tell that everyone sang in different pitches and tones but they came together quite nicely. A single scream that cut through the silence between chords was also apparent. There was a balance between community and those who stood out - that one voice could still be heard in a crowd of thousands.
I see the same in Richard Prince. But faces instead of voices.
