| Transformation Tuesday |
I wasn’t going to post our laundry room until it was 100% finished, however that won’t be for another few weeks. So in the meantime, here is one of the completed views.
First, the cement floor was painted and stenciled. A little paint goes a long way! Next I cut 12” x 12” peel and stick vinyl tile into strips to make the backsplash. Who knew $1 floor tiles could brighten the walls!
Next, new cabinets were added for extra storage and to cover up a few eye soars.
Hopefully soon the rest of it will be completed!
THE MAN CAVE!
This project was awesome! With the inspirational know how of @whitepawlak, this plain ol' bedroom was transformed to this epic man cave for our friend who couldn't be happier with his just in time bday present. Shiplap walls, built in cabinets, new ambient lighting, crown molding, flooring, base, paint and much more. This is truly a man's room now. *******This is NOT how marble wall tile should be installed!!!! It came like a “post it”....Please note this is a ~$2 million house (which was built to spec for this customer a few years ago) we were hired to do work in, and while opening up an additional doorway to the bathroom we realized that all the tile was nearly falling off the walls. In all my years I’ve never seen tile peel off so easily let alone a heavy marble tile which could caused a lot of harm if it would have fallen on somebody. Although it will extend the project, I informed the customer if we are putting our name on this project, we must remove all the loose tiles on the wall as well as the sheet rock and reinstall everything the correct way, and then continue on with the scheduled work. #thisisnotsupposedtohappen#smh#longisland#construction#remodeling#bathroomremodel#professionals#quality#tile#dowork#tilework#nassaucounty#realestate
