Went to Regency in Queensbury tonight with these two. I ate for twice the time as my nearest competitor. So I won. Neil it's not a competition 🏆. The food was less spicy than normal and they are changing their decor finally after 17 centuries of 70's wallpaper! Wait... 🤔...Anyway here's my face, Payal's and Abbos'. Photos are funny things 📸 #regency#faces
Behold! The Cojo Show photos have arriiiiiiiiived. 😊 Super happy to have them ready to go. I’ll be releasing them one by one over the next day or two. Here is my Jane Austen costume. I loves making the bonnet by hand so there will definitely be more millinery in the future.
We recently picked up this board game from my grandmother's house. It is called "Nain Jaune" which would translate to Yellow Dwarf. It was first invented in the North-West of France arround 1760 under the names "Nain"/Dwarf or "Nain-Bébé"/ Baby Dwarf. The game then became popular in all of Europe especially during the French Revolution where it changes name again for "Lindor". It was then somewhat forgotten after the 1850s but came back during the 1st WW. It is since then considered a classic board game. You play using a deck of playing cards and a board made up of 5 compartments (often removable) these hold the wagers of the players and are illustrated with the cards needed to win their content. It is a game that combines luck with a bit of strategy and it is very easy to learn! You can play with 3 to 8 people.

Last week I posted all the #GeorgetteHeyer books I own BUT haven’t read. This week I’m sharing the ones I HAVE read! 📚📚📚 Just a very modest amount, I have a ways to go!!! My favorites? (Because choosing just one is pure insanity!!) At the moment I would have to say Venetia, These Old Shades, and Cotillion! But that could change depending on my mood! How about you? What are your favorites from this stack? 💗✨ Btw I will be sharing the Georgette Heyer novel I will be reading in August in a few days in case anyone wants to join in!!
