Bocadillo de Seitán con Guacamole 🥖

I N G R E D I E N T E S .
◎ 50g de seitán en lonchas
◎ 1/4 de cebolla en julianas
◎ 1 pimiento de piquillo ◎ sal, pimienta y orégano al gusto
PARA LA SALSA .
◎ 3 aguacates en trozos pequeños
◎ 1/2 cebolla en cubitos
◎ 1 tomate en cubitos
◎ 1/2 lima exprimida
◎ 2 jalapeños en cubitos
◎ sal al gusto
◎ cilantro picado al gusto

P R E P A R A C I Ó N
•Para la salsa, mezclamos todo con un tenedor, deben quedar trozos.
•Calentamos el seitán en una sartén con aceite a fuego alto y salpimentamos y añadimos el orégano, vigilamos para darle la vuelta y hacerlo bien por los dos lados. Cuando ya el seitán este casi terminado de hacer, añadimos la cebolla para que se ablande un poco.
•Abrimos el pan por la mitad y le añadimos la salsa, el seitán en lonchas junto con la cebolla y  el pimiento.

Sopa Fría de Suero Lácteo con Curry y Chile 🍲

I N G R E D I E N T E S .
◎ 500g de millo o maíz
◎ 150g de cebolla picada
◎ 2 ajos picados
◎ 1 chile picado
◎ 1 cucharada de comino molido
◎ 1 cucharada de cilantro molido
◎ 1 cucharada de curry en polvo
◎ 500ml de caldo de verduras
◎ sal y pimienta al gusto
◎ 500ml de suero lácteo de soja 
P R E P A R A C I Ó N
•Sofreímos la cebolla y el ajo, 5 minutos.
•Añadimos el millo y chile, 2 minutos.
•Agregamos las especias y mezclamos bien, 1 minuto.
•Añadimos el caldo, cuando empiece a hervir bajamos el fuego y dejamos 10 minutos.
•Retiramos del fuego, agregamos el suero y dejamos enfriar en la nevera un par de horas antes de servirla.

BAKE! 😋 we got SO many bananas that I’m probably going to be having one everyday, but I didn’t want to just keep putting the old ones in the freezer, so I decided to experiment a little 🤔🍌🍫🍪 these are double choco cookie cakes that may look kinda funky but don’t let its looks fool you! It is sweet (but a healthier kinda sweet 🤫) so I guess you can call ‘em “HEALTHier DOUBLE CHOCO BANANA QUINOA COOKIE CAKES” but that is kind of a long name, so maybe I’ll shorten it out on the blog lol 😂

This meal always surprises me when I make it. It never looks all that good when I’m making it and it’s not the prettiest dish when plated but it always tastes incredible. This dish is super palatable and filling and it is one of the best dishes I’ve found for meal prep. It keeps extremely well in the fridge or freezer and it can be customized in many different ways. The potato on top is actually a mixture of potatoes and cauliflower to get an extra serving of vegetables in. When you mix it with the meat, you can’t taste the cauliflower AT ALL. I also use frozen mixed vegetables in the meat mixture. They are similar in size to the ground beef so you can trick your mouth into thinking they aren’t vegetables because they feel similar!!

On the weight loss side I used a higher ratio of cauliflower to potatoes and ground turkey instead of beef. It’s a super easy way to lower the caloric load without changing the flavor a whole lot.  The weight gain side has more olive oil used in the cooking which adds a ton of calories. .

As with all of these posts, the weight loss and weight gain will be different from person to person. I know some people wouldn’t gain weight eating a days worth of the meal on the right. It’s a visual. It’s for people to see what it COULD look like. Weight gain and weight loss are functions of calorie balance. Calorie balance looks vastly different for a 5 foot woman than it does for a 7 foot man. Everyone’s different. Adjust as needed. .

dEATs: 1 large tbs chia seeds stirred with 1 tbs vanilla protein powder (I use sprouted brown rice) before adding plant milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond milk but coconut milk or a mix of both would be even better I guess). Mix well and let soak for at least 10 minutes or overnight (add lots of liquid if you do so).
Note: you can add 1 tsp of sweetener of choice (maple syrup/coconut sugar/raw honey,...).
Toppings: homegrown raspberries, ab, cacao nibs, crushed Basil nuts & cinnamon.

When you go abroad you suddenly see how it should be . Lots of independent shops that still bake daily with unbleached flour and for 2€ you get a large hand baked loaf that hasn't been frozen and sent to a supermarket to put on a baking tray . -
When I moved to West Sussex we had a local baker and tea shop and a local butcher . Along came Tesco and bought them out . What we need in the UK 🇬🇧 is 
Large supermarkets contained to out of town but town centres and local shops should have low rents for  independent artisanal traders so we can easily get good food locally . -

Ку-ку!!!Вы просили написать о витаминах, БАДах и прочих добавках... Во-первых, мое мнение такое! Еда должна быть нашим лекарством и лекарство нашей едой. По этому, при разумном сбалансированном, простом питании никакие добавки или витамины вам не нужны. И все таки, важно осознавать, что фармацевтика-это огромная машина, которая зарабатывает на вас, подсаживая на «иглу» прямо с рождения! Но!!! Нужно также осознавать, что современный житель мегаполиса сталкивается с огромным количеством негативных факторов, одним из которых является стресс (я бы назвала его ключевым). По этому, залог успеха, работа в двух направлениях - учиться справляться со стрессом и принятием себя☝🏻 плюс образ жизни, о котором я писала. 
Я не пью комплекс витаминов. И вообще не вижу смысла во многих добавках. Но пью всегда - омега 3, горечи (полынь, лист чёрного ореха, кора муравьинового дерева), бактерии для кишечника, псиллиум. Ситуативно, особенно после детокса и голода могу добавить витамины группы В. Во всем остальном, честно, не вижу смысла вообще. Лучшие мои добавки и витамины, это ягоды и фрукты каждый день (летом свежие, зимой-замороженные), сезонные овощи (много, разные), каши, семена (лен, конопля, чиа), оливковое масло, зелень... Это конечно отдельная тема, но я не устану повторять одну истину!!! Если ваш кишечник здоров - здорово все тело в общем и психика в частности!!! Normalmente en casa de mis abuelos no suele haber ni dátiles, ni frutos secos ni jengibre. Pero al venirme yo unos días, nos hicimos con unas cuantas reservas de cada. 🌙Tampoco suele haber pan sin gluten, y como siempre, cuando compramos es con masa madre y cereales integrales. Sacia antes y a veces contiene semillas, o incluso la masa madre es muy beneficiosa por su presencia de bacterias que ayudan a la digestión. Este es de @schaerglutenfree ☀
