Rest day was well needed today...bit of a head cold not feeling the best but hopefully it will back off over the next few days🙌🏻 on another note 7.5 weeks out today! HOWWW am I this deep in to prep already🙈 the time is flying! Feeling really comfortable with where I’m at this far out but still a lot of work to do..forever a work in progress ☺️
Face transformation 🙈
Sad vs happy.....
No filters no makeup apart from my bad attempt of a blue smokie eye on the left 😂😂
The picture on the left is what pushes me everyday to keep going it sits on my fridge and reminds me everyday how much I never want to be that sad lonely girl again .... half the girl I use to be 😊🤗🙏💪 #facetransformations#reachinggoals#wednesdaymotivation

16 weeks of training between photos... so the 1st time I returned to the stage in years was I ready? No, 🙈did I care, NO! I was doing it for me and to conquer some poor feelings of self worth and a low confidence level, the week before my Comp I remember people laughing at me because I was not “stage ready” but I was not there to win I was there to help my self & learned not to care about other people’s opinions of me. ⬇️⬇️ I still placed in all 3 categories & WON Miss Elegance 🥇, the same people who laughed at me well 🖕🏻 the second photo I took a break post comp celebrated my birthday and Christmas (so a bit of a gap and rest) then I started again and well I guess the rest & extra calories served me well! 💪🏻🏋🏻♀️ I’m proud of this shape, this photo people laughed at me again because 3 weeks out I had to stop training due to illness but people on social media and my clients told me to go for it anyway and I did, I don’t start anything and not finish it, it’s not my personality, I placed in my 2 categories once again! So here’s the point ⬇️⬇️⬇️ A. People will always have an opinion and only a small % are negative , only listen to the positive and believe in yourself, you don’t need anyone else too, your journey is personal so F***K the so called “experts” you meet in life they know nothing about you or your journey, do it for you ❤️ ⬇️⬇️ B. Just because you don’t succeed the first time does not mean you failed, there are no such thing as failures only experiences from which to learn from and REDIRECT your approach to achieving your goals, no one who has ever been truly successful got it right the first time round (probably not even the second) .
Life will never give you the perfect situation there have been plenty of things in my life which got me down and could have kept me down & I had to learn to stop expecting help or feel sorry for myself, this is just a fact of life it’s f***kin tough but you can get through anything, getting through the pain of today can create the strength you need for future victories ❤️
Had the pleasure of meeting Mick Bullman President of RIBBF today @vitshoplimerick! Mentioned more than once that my friend @c_byrnesfit was competing! I was gonna slip him a few bob but he said no need!!! 👀💪

Gonna push push push these nxt 3 weeks and please god Il be happy with the package I bring to the stage this year !! But I'm already proud for making it this far when there was many things getting in the way & could of easily made me want to stop!! But I'm still here doing the work!!! Bring on the nxt few weeks xx .

It’s a definite yes from me. 🙋♂️
💥 COFFEE FACT 💥
IT WOULD TAKE 70 CUPS OF COFFEE
TO KILL A 150-POUND PERSON.
Too much of anything can be a bad thing—yes, even your favorite customized coffee beverage. A video from AsapSCIENCE determined that it would take 70 cups of coffee to kill a roughly 150-pound person. 🧐
Hey guys, we're having a celebration/fundraiser in Hanleys Bar Claremorris this Saturday night 22nd September. I don't know if people are aware but I'm going out to Los Angeles to compete in the Natural Bodybuilding World Championships on November 17th. We're having a raffle on the night to raise money towards the trip. I won't bore you with the details here, we've just made a Facebook event page where I've a video up explaining what's happening on the night so go check out the event and click attending if your interested in going! I've left the link to the Facebook event in my bio! #claremorris2la
1st Day back Training with a Routine.
This weeks plan is to Train the body, get the Muscle back fired up and ready to go for next week where I plan on stepping it up week by week from there on.
The Strength is not half way where it used to be but hopefully it will come back soon. (Smashing the 40KG DB press in no time 🤞)
This weeks Goal is 5 gym session and just eat as much Food as possible as My appetite has decreased well I was away.
Also plan on getting back swimming at least 3 days a week (just cause I miss it)
Even though I have a busy 2 weeks of Drinking Weddings & Party’s but still going to stick to the Goal. Hopefully 🙋♀️
Back day today with my coach @leighton_bellinger_pt , continuously working together to build a stronger and wider back🙌 under 3 weeks out from my first bikini comp 👙😁 the hard work we've both put in the last 18 months shows every single day, not just the 10-15minutes on stage 😉
Swipe right 👉 just a few months after our starting point (June 2017)
No, it doesn't just happen over night.
People aren't just born with great physiques, entrepreneur's don't just fall on their feet with multi-million $ businesses
You hear of people's success stories but what people don't tend to understand or care to listen about is the journey and hard work it took to get them there
People think your magically going to get where you want to be without putting in the work
You need to have a growth mindset if you want to succeed. You CAN become what you want to be
Too many people have a closed mindset of what they think they can't become
You can build the future you want for yourself, travel to the places you want to go, be around the people that only make you want to become better than you were yesterday
Where you are today is not where you will end up ❤
Keep working on your goals whatever they are, be proud of all the progress you have made so far, ESPECIALLY all of the progress that no one else has seen 💕
I have definetly being guilty of this in the past. Are you tracking accurately and not dropping weight? Could the below be one of the reasons why? Time to have a look at all the little extras that are slipping into your daily diet.
• • • • •
After conversations with my friend @drnadolsky recently about how often this happens, I figured it would be appropriate to re-post this infographic from a few months ago. Most people underreport their calorie intake and then get frustrated when they’re not able to achieve their fat loss goals or when they gain weight.
The calories can certainly sneak up on you - a little bit of here, a dollop of dressing there… and while these extras may not mean much in isolation, they can add up throughout the day surprisingly quickly. Shown here is an example (sadly, not an exaggeration for some folks) of how what people claim to be eating differentiates quite drastically from what they are truly eating.
In general, the more overweight you are, the more you tend to underreport your intake - and there are other factors at play as well, including income, level of education, and psychological variables. Individuals can underreport from anywhere between 200 to over 2,000 Calories per day. Heck, even dietitians, who should arguably be some of the best people in the world in tracking their intake, underreport by roughly 200 Calories.
This can certainly be a sensitive topic to clients, patients, and/of friends, and no doubt some may get offended at the suggestion that they may not being fully honest about what and how much they’re eating. However, when it comes to troubleshooting your progress, taking a good, hard look at what your diet really looks like can be crucial to finally seeing forward momentum toward your goal.
