When you’re in Milwaukee at the Public Market and one of the choices for lunch is a cheese shop, it’s not a tough decision. Also trying my first Spotted Cow from @newglarusbrewing. I think I’m doing Wisconsin right?
Today was the final full day of our visit to #Seattle , and it started at @pikeplacepublicmarket and ended not far from there at @scoutpnw. #Food was center stage today, with butterfish and scallops for BREAKFAST and at Scout...well...follow our Twitter handle (freneticperipat) to see that!
Touring some of the Asian markets and shopping centers in Richmond BC... found the realest Chinese food court in here. Theres more than a dozen food stands and old men playing cards and gambling at the tables. Feels like I’m back in Old Prosperity ... #richmondbc#chinatownlife#publicmarket#chinatown#foodcourt
#Throwback to that time @annemarie2828 and I traveled around the world. Spending time in Vancouver without several visits to #GranvilleIsland#PublicMarket#Granville Island is located across #FalseCreek from Downtown Vancouver, under the south end of the Granville Street Bridge. The peninsula was once an industrial manufacturing area, but today it is a hotspot for Vancouver tourism and entertainment. The area has received much acclaim in recent years for its buildings and shopping experience. It provides amenities such as a large public #market , an extensive marina, a boutique hotel, Arts Umbrella, False Creek Community Centre, various performing arts theatres including Vancouver's only professional improvisational theatre company Vancouver Theatresports League, the Arts Club Theatre Company and Carousel Theatre, fine arts galleries, and variety of shopping areas.
The Granville Island Public Market features a #farmersmarket , day vendors, and artists offering local Vancouver goods. There are 50 permanent retailers and over one-hundred day vendors in stalls throughout the market selling a variety of artisan cottage-industry foods and handmade crafts on a rotating schedule.
Granville Island Brewing Co. is also the name of a beer company which originated on Granville Island in 1984.
There is always a first for everything. Olive oil tasting...😳Some of the olive oil stored away has been aged for more then a 25+ years. And everyone received a shot of oil, to my surprise it went down smooth like butter and very flavorful. 😋 #publicmarket#wenatchee#familytrip#curiousitems
