Maniel and Carmen are a couple that we put a house roof on for last March. We have been back to visit them several times since, and they had come out to the community event that we had back in August. God is working! This Sunday they came to church for the first time! At the end of the service, the two of them requested prayer. The man in particular seemed very sincere and got emotional. Pray for Maniel and Carmen that God would continue to draw their hearts, and that they would find His peace. #plaincompassion#puertorico#pray4puertorico
We cant keep complaining about a problem and not taking action. The problem today in Puerto Rico is the youth arent taking action. This is an island built strong on our ancestors and grandparents backs. We got lazy, and neglected here by "simply seeking better" and leaving. Okay thats understandable, but dont complain when you come to PR n see struggle when 65% is elderly ppl and the other percentage is youngsters that all they do is drink n kick it all day. If PR is gonna get better, we cant rely on the corrupt govt. Shut up, n work. Im off my soap box now.. .. n yes the gloves r too big for my midget hands. I know. #puertorico#Puertoricoselevanta#pr#pray4puertorico#PrayforPuertoRico#Hurricanehelp#Sandiegophoto#Biblical#Sandiego#HurricaneMaria#maria

The generosity being received in #PuertoRico is amazing. While it shouldn't take a natural disaster for people to be nice, it is good to know that people do care. Continue to #Pray4PuertoRico . Thank God for the case of water and other things being provided to those in need.
Today ... I was able to finally take some time to myself ... I went to Loiza and distributed the last of the canned foods, toothbrushes, deodorant, batteries, formula, diapers, etc I had. There were 10 families that came out in the newspaper here yesterday that have been living in tents at a basketball court. Today as soon as I was able 2, I packed the car up with everything I could and brought it there. And because the beach was just down the street I jumped in. Ahhh. Just had 2 share this pic. I wish I had a spear gun ... there where so many fish. Anywho. If you would still like to donate or ship items to pr for me to distribute you can either donate via PayPal (firstname.lastname@example.org) or ship to an address I can DM you. I asked some people in Loiza what was needed and still mosquito killing spray is a big one. #PuertoRico#Sandiego#HurricaneMaria#maria#huracanmaria#pray#Jesus#Christian#Christ#PRseLevanta#puertoricose#Hurricanehelp#pray4puertorico#PrayforPuertoRico#lifestraw#loiza#PRseLevanta#Puertoricoselevanta

That famous drone photo that went viral throughout social media after hurricane maria. "S.O.S Necesitamos agua/comida". (S.O.S we need water/food). This is one of the areas of my hometown Humacao. This area is called Punta Santiago. It is an area right next to the beach so the impact from the hurricane was very devastating here. I've driven in this area about 5x since I've been here, which on the 31st will mark a month exactly. And it wasn't till today when I walked to the little corner store down the street to buy a bottle of water and a bag of chips that I noticed this on the ground. I was thinking wow. I asked my cousins family which we were visiting in the area about the writing and they said things were really bad. The majority of food and that had been stocked before the hurricane was swept away when the water came into everyone's house. And that's why they wrote this on the street. There was no food and everyone pitched whatever they could salvage and the community came together to eat. Some people on the street cooked from gas stoves they had and people would line up to get a plate. #Pray4puertorico#Puertoricoselevanta#puertorico#PrayforPuertoRico#Sandiego#Sandiegophoto#Biblical#Sandiego#HurricaneMaria#maria#huracanmaria#pray#Jesus#Christian#Christ
