Fun day in the forest. Shout out to Joe for only writing me for 10mph over in a 200mph zone. 😉
All jokes aside always drive well within your skill set, your equipment, only in places where no other motorists are present, and never near any intersecting roads of any kind. Always stay calm and calculated. If you’re a skilled driver with a high performing vehicle the safety of others is your responsibility. Be conscious of uncertain variables, grip levels on different surfaces and road conditions. Skill building should only be done on racetracks or during EVOC courses. This message is for civilian as well as our law enforcement officers in pursuit of suspect.
Stay safe out there people. 🇺🇸
Reflecting on last Sunday’s panel discussion celebrating the achievements of Max Hoffman and his work in helping to launch Porsche (and many other great European brands) in America. Truly an honor to speak to a full house on the @hagertyclassiccars panel with host Larry Webster (@lwebster19) and Porsche experts Prescott Kelly and Cam Ingram (@porsche_malone).
Special “thanks” to David Jacobson (@collectorcarshowcase) for creating the special day as well as extending the invitation. And, to Andrew Miterko (@iamdrewseph) for the awesome close-up, action shots.
I love sharing the Porsche passion and I greatly appreciate all who came out to celebrate with us on this most memorable occasion.
If not already, consider following @ray.shaffer for your “backstage pass” to Porsche, Porsche Classic and travel related material. Thank you.
