If you're like me and the front of your shoulder is super tight, here's a way to actively open it!
Use a specific part of the swimmer hovers to work on your active shoulder extension. 💡Things to be mindful of:
✔Shoulder is retracted off the ground and depressed so it's not rounded forward
✔ Maintain a 90 degree angle with your elbow ✔ Think of lifting your whole forearm (elbow & wrist in line) off your back while it's still parallel to the floor
✔Translate your head backwards (doublechin while forehead is in line with the chin) to keep an active neck
✅ I like to and am able to hover my head off the ground but it's totally acceptable for your forehead to be resting on the ground as long as your neck is still active
It’s getting SO REAL ✨✨✨ I can’t wait to tear up that stage in NYC with my amazingly support friend @ozkrwyld !!!!!!

Normally everyone posts perfectly polished Pole videos with moves they’ve been working on for forever and a day. Well not this one lol Tuesday was the first day I got back into the studio since my trip. Before I left I wasn’t having an inspiration or really any desire to dance at all. So no this isn’t perfect, yes it’s a little slow and a work in progress but I’m really digging the direction it is going, sooooooo yeah....enjoy 😘 #progressnotperfection#poledancing#poledance#polefitness#pole#poleplay and thanks @heelhuggers for making sure I don’t kill myself in my amazing shoes from @nightshade.designs 💕💕💕
