Not a bad trip, 6 hours to Doha and around 5 to Bangkok. Landed in rush hour 7:00 traffic took us 2 HOURS to get to Khao San Road. It’s now 9:00am, stinking hot and we’ve stumbled upon Lucky Beer for my staple pad thai and Chang beer 🍺 (said no tourist ever...) It’s @chefbigm first experience of this, and at 9:00am in the 30 degree heat it seemed like the right thing to do. Next a tuk tuk to explore this city, already bursting with energy. M is just ecstatic he has never been to Asia and his little face is just full of excitement and appreciation which is epic. As for me, my 💜 is full, my soul is grateful that I’ve brought it back to my favourite place in the world, and life in general at this point is peachy. I’m just sipping my beer whilst watching the hustle and bustle of the early morning vendors on the street coupled with bewildered pale tourists with oversized luggage staring upwards in confusion as they look for their hotels. .......
