The thing I like best about long exposure macro action shots is when one of the zillion pics I just took actually looks how I dreamed it would...Ok, I only took 973 at the fab Inspire Tribe show but when the sun came through the trees in thin dusty slices to illuminate the flamenco dancers, skirts whirling furiously in the Faire air, I went into full 'long exposure' mode without hesitation. Granted - I didn't get nearly as many photos that 'worked' - but even as I lamented the lack of focus in some, I thought many of the in-focus shots were, well - kinda boring. So here is one photo that melts my heart just like those rappers and dancers did - one that flips the colorful skirts in your face yet stops still to admire her delicate expression and the glint of jewelry grazing her neckline. This is probably why I always end up at this stage at the end of an Oregon Country Faire Friday, I follow the music through the woods to the lit clearing and am always rewarded with awesomeness. Thank you again oh fair Faire, my tired feet have recovered already and my happy JoJo glow from within is once again renewed with vigor and zest for a life of art and dance, music and community, local creations - and all in the forest along the Long Tom. #ocf2018#oregoncountryfair#flamenco#inspiretribe#dance#ig_color#nikontop_#nikon#pnwstyle#exploreoregon#longexposure#macrophotography#macro#camerawoman#pnwonderland#sunlight#supportlocalartists#manualfocus#followthemusic#followthelight#ocfair#nikonphotography#Oregon#oregonrocks
Roses are also used on four tarot cards. The Fool, the Magician, the Strength card, and the Death card. On the Fool, the white rose symbolizes purity and is a reminder to cleanse the mind. On the Magician card, it signifies unfolding wisdom. On the Strength card the rose represents balance. And on the Death card it’s a reminder of purity, clarity, and transparency of intent.

Fun Fact Friday: Cyber Insurance! Article from Einsurance.com “You may think cybercrimes only happen to larger companies, or that the data you store isn’t important enough for an attack. But you’re wrong. Small Business Trends states that in 2016: • 43% of cyber attacks were aimed at small business. • 60% of small companies go out of business within the six months after the event.
Small businesses typically store customer information the “bad guys” are interested in including: • Email addresses • Phone numbers • Billing addresses
Also, keep in mind that a certain number of security breaches are accidently made by employees.
Play it safe and make sure your business doesn’t go under due to a cyber attack.”

My rigs history, post 4.
This is the #rig I wanted to settle on after selling the #delica : #jeep#wrangler#rubicon#jl . I loved it and it was a fantastic vehicle, until I fell #asleep on the highway in #Oregon , flipped it on the side and #totaled it. Will post more pictures of the accident later.
Always get a good rest when you drive long hours and feel tired, I thought I was used enough to drive for many hours but I was wrong....obviously. It was a huge #pita but after a while I got paid by the insurance and bought a new one, this time black, which I will post about later. .
What's with the rain, friend? And on a weekend that I'm staying in Chicago...tsk tsk. This precipitation is much more tolerable in the PNW, though I can't put my finger on exactly why I think so. Guess I'll have to check out the Aquarium.
If anyone has any other suggestions for rainy day Chi-town activities, send them my way ☔
Cheers ~ The Commuter
Our garden is pretty lame this year. After our dog broke his leg this spring and sucked up all of our time and energy, we decided to take a year off 😕 It consists of mainly flowers, strawberries, grapes, potatoes and pumpkins. I miss all the fresh veggies and am really regretting our laziness! Next year's goals are like last year's hauls!
What do you have in the garden this year?
I just realized it’s been a while since I’ve posted pictures of any actual jewelry. Life has been interfering with making and creating. I did manage to eek out a couple of rings the other day-here’s one of ‘em. It’s available-DM for deets 💚
