And just like that it is the final count down to going home. With the memories of some of the most beautiful places I have ever been from the last week I just have one thing to say, do I have to go home?!? #oahu#nofilter#hawaii#nature

When I went to my friends house, her Purple Crown had at least 7-10 cocoons on it, then shortly after all the butterfly’s. I thought it would be so fun for my girls to explore and learn at our house, so I went and got one. We had 1-cacoon the first week. Now, we have about 8 caterpillars 🐛. These little guys better not eat-n-run. We want to see who they become! 🦋
Thanks @meganvukasovicbooye for the plant idea. My girls are loving it so far.
What other plants are fun for the kids?
The breakfast made it worth the 100 mosquitoes that bit my legs as soon as I took off my pants to take the outdoor shower and the 10 mosquitoes that bit my face because I didn't put DEET there at first made knowing I can have a good night of sleep in the car worth it. I had the best fried 'ulu ever. So sweet and delicious. Think sweet potato fries. The chaya was fresh from a stalk he gave us to plant in our apartment. I eat it at @juicybrew and now I know what it is. The lilikoi were sweet big and on point. He also had fresh from the yard peanut butter fruit, moya, coconut, dried star fruit, pomegranate, noni and moringa leaf tea, wild chicken eggs. It was quite an experience.
