I found out I have impingement syndrome in my shoulder. So to try and fix things I was prescribed to do physical therapy for 4-6 weeks..
I think I need to freeze my @orangetheory membership and switch to an at home workout like bbg.. Any thoughts?🧐 Also, new exercise routine recommendations are highly appreciated in the comments below😄🙏🏽👇🏼

"I joined OTF St. John’s at the end of April 2018 and just reached my 100th workout. Before that, I was working out at a small gym at work, but after spending 21 ½ years in the military, I was used to, and preferred, structured classes so I was quickly losing my motivation working out alone.When my office was relocated to another facility, I took the opportunity to find a new gym. I had tried other fitness facilities before and needed something different. Then I remembered a friend had mentioned she joined OTF St. John’s last summer, and despite my apprehension about joining due to an injury that has limited my range of motion and strength, I decided to give it a try. After my first workout, I was hooked. There is so much to love about OTF, but my favorite thing is the staff and coaches. They are always so encouraging and thrilled when you achieve a personal best or improve on a benchmark. When I shaved 12 seconds off my 500 m benchmark row, I surprised myself, but the coaches were happier than I was. It was so nice to share that accomplishment with the ones who helped me reach that goal. ⠀
My favorite classes are ESP, but I love every workout. OTF has changed my life because I can now do exercises my orthopedic surgeon and physiotherapist said I would never be able to do again, and my range of motion and strength has improved. Although I still have days where my pain levels limit my range of motion and strength, I am still motivated to show up every morning for my workout, and I modify the movements. With a different workout every day, along with the excellent OTF St. John’s staff and coaches, I anticipate being an OTF member for many years.⠀
I have a theory as to why I only got 2 splat points this morning...it was 5am and I was technically sleepwalking/biking/lifting so my heart rate stayed low. Pretty sure it #science#fact#sleepworkout#otf @orangetheoryfitnesspetaluma

Nobody wants to go to a workout and feel like they wasted an hour of their life. Everyone wants a GOOD workout and a GOOD sweat. And since group fitness classes are predominantly women, guys tend to stay away. Not at Orangetheory Alamo 💪🏼💪🏼 Out of 27 people in class today, 18 were men. EIGHTEEN. Go ahead and ask them about Orangetheory workouts and get back to me on that theory ;) A great workout is a great workout...PERIOD!
