Also worked on dialing in that toes-to-bar technique by breaking them up into smaller sets, being consistent and some rope climbs to finish off the day.

Staying at the top is a different beast, a different mindset, a different work ethic than getting to the top one time

-What did your last strength session looked like?
How many reps did you do? For how many set? How much rest?
Tempo? -These must be taken into account when perform any heavy lodes compound movement or even lighter kid accessory exercises. Here’s a few examples. -Back squat
2 reps x 5 sets @20x1 3-4 min rest b/t sets -Back squat
7 reps x 3 sets 2-3 min Rest @40x1 -See the difference? Reps increase sets decrease. Lower reps longer rest. Also side note with the Longer tempo and more time under tension you will receive a different response in the body. That can help determine your rest and sets as well! -2 reps higher load, faster tempo means a more central nervous system response and more brain activity so a Longer rest is needed. More sets can be done as well. -7 reps longer tempo more time under tension this becomes more metabolic response which requires less rest and less sets. -This goes for accessory as well. If your program doesn’t follow these simple guidelines you are doing your body a dis service.

all the butt stuff🍑 yesterday i had an awesome morning workout followed by a great meeting with my coach, and then worked 8 hours, on my feet... and i was exhausted but had my PM sesh still, and was SO pushing towards skipping it, but then remembered my goals and went and CRUSHED the session and felt rest after😍 it’s amazing what the gym can do💪🏼
