So technically it's still fall, but we already have our first official snow storm(s) in the books! Needless to say the cozy season is upon us! Bring on the crackling fires, hot drinks, comfort food, ski days, many layers and toasty jackets. 👏
We love the chic cashmere beanies from @woodboogah. Handmade right here in Maine they are the cherry on top of your winter wardrobe!

The news from the last week just feels like it’s been relentlessly miserable. So much doom and gloom, the ability to see clearly eludes us right now. In spirit we are transporting ourselves to one of our happy places – Tunnel View in Yosemite valley. A vista that has outlasted so much change and disruption around the world and will continue to do so. Everything will pass. #mondaymotivation#lostinscent#yosemite
Ocellated lizards seem almost ubiquitous in the Iberian Peninsula. Except for small areas in the north, they can be found elsewhere, from the burning grounds of Doñana to the wet and rainy Atlantic Isles. It's not unusual to be walking around and hear a sudden noise: it's late now, and the lizard's gone. But this one? This one stood still, somehow thinking we wouldn't see him. Hint: it didn't work at all!

The Narrows, Zion National Park, Utah
One of the most legendary slot canyon hikes in the world and is by far one of the most dangerous hikes in Zion. Flash floods can drastically increase the water height in minutes. This trail is a 16 mile, there and back hike, going against the flow through water ranging from 1-5 feet deep water. Water temperature is typically in the 50s most of the year. If this hike is on your bucket avoid monsoon season as any prediction of rain will have this trail closed. All together this was probably one of my favorite hikes I’ve ever been on.
