Reminiscing on the most amazing trip with @kathryngutkin ! We hustled on the first day we arrived, full of adrenaline and lack of sleep from the long plane rides... we got in a rental car out of Christchurch at 7am to start our 9 day tour of the South Island and made it to Aoraki/Mt. Cook near Lake Pukaki by sundown... this was our first sunset in New Zealand. The weather at Mt. Cook changes every minute. The summit was blanketed in clouds all day and evening, then blue hour... it opened up. And it was special. 🏔 📷 @nikonusa D850

Self portrait looking out over the Southern Alps, New Zealand. Most self portraits capture a moment of feeling for me, which is what matters. I set up a shot like this not for the place or the view, necessarily, but because I felt something I don’t want to forget. Somehow, though this image doesn’t have words attached, when I look at it I know I’ll always remember how free, alive, accomplished and content I was. For me, the combination of all those emotions results in happiness.. so here I am, happy.
Taken awhile now from Matheson Bay. Just an hour away from Auckland, looking forward for more astro photography soon. Next time i’d be better with focusing 😂 warmup new zealand! @lumixnz @lumix @purenewzealand

Take a deep breath...😱
Going over the edge of the worlds highest commercial waterfall just out side of Rotorua in NZ with the crew of @kaitiakiadventures 🤙
7m of vertical, raging water! 😨
Such a fun way to spend the morning and the contrast of peaceful, beautiful NZ rainforest with the chaos of the rapids and waterfalls is epic 🌴
Would you dare tackle it?! 🤔
