Flash Back to Nursing School 💉. This was the day of our Senior Poster Board Presentation. I was soooo stressed and overwhelmed at this time so I literally threw my board together the night/morning before the presentation (hence it being scratched out in the pic 🤣) •
I’m smiling there, but I LITERALLY went home and balled my eyes out in the shower for at least 30 min because I had reached my MAX. I just kept asking myself how??! How can I make it? How can one person possibly take on all of this? Trying to study for exit HESI, completing my 12 hour shifts + paper work, doing the 1,000 required practice questions plus extra ones for myself etc. Graduation was literally 2 weeks away but I was no where near excited! I became anxious anytime someone mentioned it to me because in my mind, I wasn’t even sure if I would make it. BUT GOD! •
I MADE IT and I’ll (finally) be starting my Career as a #Registered#Nurse in the Ortho/Neuro department Next Monday 🙌🏾❤️
BOOK REVIEW! I got this book-"I wasn't strong like this when I started out-True stories of becoming a nurse"- out from the library yesterday and finished it in under 24 hours! This book is amazing and shows the reality of nursing. Not the glamorous way TV portrays nurses nor as glorified maids cleaning bedpans- the real, heart-wrenching, arduous but amazing and powerful career of nursing. It takes one through many different fields of nursing and speaks about the nurses emotions and thoughts behind different situations. This series of essays portray how nurses really feel and how they learn to deal with the difficulties of being a nurse. It describes the successes as well as the failures of many nurses and how they dealt with it after. It gives a peek into what nursing really is and us a recommended read for anyone- healthcare professional or not! @futurenurselay #iwasntstronglikethiswhenistartedout#nursinglife#nursingstudent#nurse#nurses#rn#registerednurse#healthcare#bsn#nursepractitioner#nicunurse#neonatalnursepractitioner#hospital#medical#medsurg#medicine
Bons estudos!!! Perdão pela linguagem informal do post.
when you see two double rainbows in the same day 🌈🌈😇😇
We hit 300 followers today! It is super exciting to see our little nursing community grow!
Keep an eye on my stories everyday to keep up to date with what I’m doing!
lots of love xx
Do not forget to clip up whatever is dangling, trust me whatever dangles along the face and neck can be used against you as a nurse 🤣. I got called off work as soon as I was dressed, so I have nothing else to do.
tratados, prevenindo a evolução do ferimento.
The excitement of the babes & I’s first day back! Let’s just say she was the talk of the day as she literally just popped a few weeks ago!
You should never dread going to work the night or day of. Life’s too short, find something you love! The amount of energy is so contagious to be around and I absolutely love it ☺️ Here’s to a great day, week & school year!
Last first day & less than a year until I graduate with my BSN! First days are always overwhelming, confusing, and filled with lots of information. Today was no different from any other first day I’ve had while in nursing school but with some excitement added to the mix! Things are getting real as we start having more responsibilities at clinical, send in applications for licensure & apply for graduation! 🤩💉👩🏽⚕️ I hope everyone has a great semester! Here is to senior year 🥂 #nursingschool#nursingstudent#senior#bsnstudent#nurselife#nurse#student
