Often I forget: how deeply grounded I can feel until I move my body intuitively and freely; my softest feminine essence until I move with grace and ease; how present I can be until I simply drop ego and flow; how connected I can feel until I forego fear and move the way my heart wants me to move; how blessed I am in health and well-being to move this earthly body.

these past few months have been so pivotal for self growth. I’ve done things I never thought I’d have the motivation or energy to do again. It’s all about tapping into what makes you the happiest.. and just do it. whatever that may be 🍂✨🍁 stay till the last clip for an interaction with the local ups guy 😂
When we are stressed or scared. Our body tenses up in order to protect itself. .
Tense for too long, imbalances start to emerge. .
Stay tense for even longer, your body induces pain in order to tell you to pay attention to it. .
So to reduce tension is to first take out the threat response to the body. Ie. Reducing stress. .
Once reduced, the body will grant you all the mobility it needs. .
Keep playing, keep moving, keep awesome .

Leading Soulful Sunday is MICHAEL MOLIN-SKELTON. ✨
Michael reaches through dance rather than teaches to dance. He has been dancing since being pushed through the birth canal. After receiving a bachelor of fine arts degree from UCLA, he performed and choreographed in companies both nationally and internationally for 15 years. He met Gabrielle Roth early in 1994. Later that year, at the request of Gabrielle, he began teaching the 5rhythms. Michael got his 5rhythms certification in 1998 and teacher certification in Soul Motion in 2001. He has been a 16 year student of continuum montage with Susan Harper and his teaching of the 5rhythms and Soul Motion has been greatly influenced by her mentoring. He is a certified Esalen massage practitioner since 1995 and is passionate about the art of touch.
Michael holds a few things sacred:"The love of my life Anneli, the miracle we named Jaylan, friends that cherish and challenge me, dancing alone, dancing with you, love." Michael is a senior faculty member of the Soul Motion school and resides in Port Townsend, Washington. "Dance is not something I do, it's simply who I am." .

the truth is— my movement practice is more than moving with grace through a yoga sequence or firing up this body. it’s more than dancing fluidly to the beat of a drum. it’s more than seeing the shifts and changes that have happened within my body over the last 7 years. all of those are extras. big beautiful extras.
but the truth is—movement brought me back to life.
movement taught me how to feel everything—without numbing everything. how to be uncomfortable and deeply in love at the same time.
movement taught me that this body is a miracle that can breathe and dance and sing and touch. and i cry, so hard, at how much of a blessing that truly is.
movement taught me that even through the most painful moments—there is something waiting on the other side. something so big and expansive and full of grace that there is really nothing to ever be afraid of.
i know now, to trust so deeply in whatever is happening, and be in love with every moment. every piece. all the demons and darkness and fullness and light.
feeling so. grateful. for the opportunity to move today. for the ability to be so deeply present in this body that i can feel everything at every moment. i love you body. i love you life.

hehe little hip hop flow as my babe was playing it this morning. Hip hop was a huge part of my life, uni dayz mostly. there is something about the beat I can’t just resist and also my body doesn’t move to anything same way it moves to hip hop. Rebel foreva. Just dance!
Shamanism, like any other discipline, requires practice. Shamanism is about relationship to the wild instincts and deep health and harmony of nature inside us and beyond us. For instance, through giving our attention to the 70% of us that IS water, we can learn how to bring the qualities of fluidity, depth, connectivity and flow into our everyday lives. The more we recognise the waters as sacred, the deeper this relationship goes. Therefore, having your morning shower becomes a beautiful opportunity to be in direct connection with the waters of life. Like any relationship, the more attention we give to it, the deeper it goes and every one of us has it within us to connect to the powers that give us life in a much deeper way.
