Stick work is essential for shoulder mobility and glenohumeral health. I love creating this movement, especially when combined with opening the rib cage, elongating the pectoralis major and allowing for the intercostals to do some work when you are breathing. 🧠

If you have shoulder pain or restrictions, start slow and easy by just creating the overhead movement and do not push beyond a pain point. Work in your remits until the tendons allow you to go further.

Involving the thoracic spine is a more advanced movement which will come with practice. I love it as it allows me to mobilise my spine. Breathing correctly is essential 🗣

HOLY fuck I forgot how much relief can be found in movement. I feel like I have really lost touch with my wisdom, practice, rituals, since falling so heavily in love, I've received my joy and fulfilment from that other person. I got so lost in that love that I forgot myself, quite quickly I diminished and shrank to a small meak version of myself. Subconciously thinking that this would please or comfort my partner somehow.
3 days a part today.
So much grief and regret moving through me. 
I just want to be with him but I know, for now, I cant, I have to do me, healing this old wound is absolutely necessary to be my powerful self in relationship as well as solo life

Jump board: 
To my knowledge, it’s one of two Pilates practices meant to raise the heart rate. Typically, Pilates is an anaerobic activity. 
You want to start and land where your heel is able to reach the mat. You might feel like your not getting much flexion, but that’s where your body is telling you its connection starts and ends. Trust me, you’re getting the work. Lots of energy through the leg, pointing the toes on the way out,  then coming in to land first on the toes, then balls of the feet, then the heel.  You can hear my saying, “TOE, BALL, HEEL.” There are so many variations with jump-board, which makes it fun.

Excited for Christmas this year it has been so long since I have splurged and bought something solely for myself. I’ve had this hoop for almost five years, it’s an LED Mood Hoop. My battery charger was ruined and I haven’t had the opportunity to buy another but I’m happy that I’ll be able to tomorrow! Also for the longest time I’ve wanted a smaller hoop. Nirvana- Heartshaped box 📦💓 Yesterday I was forced to step out of my socially anxious ridden comfort zone and go to a restaurant with my children and significant other for a Christmas party to meet his boss, coworkers, and their wives. I was the youngest women there which made me feel like I stood out because I’m also a young parent and people often assume because of my age (I’m 23) and the fact that I have two children that I generally don’t know what I’m doing as a Mother. Honestly I don’t think anyone really knows what they are doing we just use our intuitions and do our best in my opinion. There is no right way to be a mother only your own way. I don’t eat out often because Aleister doesn’t sit still for long. I’m also breastfeeding and Amelia is not accustomed to bottles, but I didn’t let that hold me back. I still went even though I didn’t want to because I wanted to make a good impression. I don’t think I did, but at least i had the guts to go anyways. It was kind of around Aleister’s bed time and we had already been out all day. So he wasn’t in the most cheerful mood, but we stayed for a good amount of time. Amelia slept most of the time so that was a giant plus because I could focus on Aleister. It was a very awkward situation though. Asking for positive energy towards the situation because my significant other has a wonderful opportunity and I would be so ashamed to be an embarrassment. Based on my personal experience, I find that it is often reached when we are creating. Wether it’s dancing, painting, cooking, cleaning, exercising, building a tree house 😜 you name it. When we’re physically, mentally, and emotionally invested in the moment, with all five senses, it feels as if every action arrives swiftly and effortlessly in coordination. There is no separation between the artist and the art. For, if not for the artist, there would be no art. 👁🎨
