Do you know that the dust from a jewellers bench is as precious as the pieces on his/her bench? .
Jewellers/makers who work with precious metal(gold, silver) collect the dust that falls into their leather sleeves in order to save the wastage caused by sawing and/or filing(yes! Dust=wastage)
Once collected, the dust can be melted and turned into wire or blobs of precious metal that can then be re-used to make more pieces
How cool is that? .
Also, anyone living in Karachi who happens to go to Saddar may have seen some majore roadworks there near where the jewellery hub is
Interestingly enough, the rubble from all the roadworks there, was unlike any other rubble as it is mixed with precious metal dust which means the labourers get to collect that dust and cash in on some gold and silver! .
One man's waste, another man's treasure! .
My first proper metal show in...yikes, seven years? @wittrofficial @atthegates_official and @behemothofficial all absolutely slayed. Took a tumble in the pit during Behemoth's set, but I had a fucking blast. Plus I got some patches to festoon my battle jacket with 😁 #metal
