Failure is the best teacher in life. It’s not there to sabotage your hard work or effort. It’s your friend not your foe, and it's enlightening you to do the following:
1. Seek to learn. Take ACTION! You won’t know unless you try. Seek something that intimidates you and take action.
2. Self-analyze what went wrong, and don't resist change, embrace it! Take another shot at it and don’t give up. Seek a different approach and practice self-awareness as you analyze the process.
3. Seize Solution. There is wisdom in failing forward. Look for the gold and gain momentum through trial and error. The solution is to repeat this process until it becomes a habit.
Furthermore, step up and take responsibility for your life. We must HONOR failure and become comfortable with the wisdom it provides.
What are you doing to experience more failure in life? Are you seeking opportunities or are you stifling your growth?
#tbt this one isn’t about me, its about teachers, mentors and coaches.
At 18 Mrs. Wara wrote this, “Thomas your work ethic will take you far. I will root for you and you and hop that your pro dream comes to be… Hark work = Success.”
As you know the journey to the ultimate goal is never smooth, never easy and often unbearable. But it was messages like this, that reminded me I had people rooting for me. During those hard time I remembered the messages like these and wanted to prove people like Mrs. Wara right.
If you’re in a space of influence, remember, you have to power to shape a perspective and mindset of a youngster.
Mrs. Wara, thanks for rooting for me! 😎 The assignment you gave us, “Where do you see yourself @ 23.” Is something I use in my workshops and speaking engagements. 🤓
So today decided to grab 4 weighted vests that equals 40 POUNDS TOTAL ! On my back ... ( I’m sick in the head ) 🤔😏🤢🤮 haha but I love it !!! This rope isn’t no joke to climb period. But adding 40 pounds to your back and have it pulling you down while your trying to go up is a true test of strength .... little disappointed I couldn’t to the tip top of the rope. But it’s PROGRESS ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 and we still working baby !!! #striveforgreatness 🚀 #VenomShow 🐍🤘🏽 #KingThings 👑 #MentalToughness 👌🏽
What’s one fear you plan to or already conquered recently? COMMENT BELOW⬇️
Fears are something we create in our mind about potential pain. Often that pain is much more dramatic in our minds then in reality. I remember the first time I stepped on stage, I was so afraid of messing up, of failing. But I prepared like crazy and when the time came I had to act. Afterwards I was overwhelmed by the positive response I received from the audience. If I had let the fear conquer me, I never would have impacted so many people.
Be courageous, take action, and CONQUER YOUR FEARS👊💯
I want to talk to YOU... Yes, you. 😉
I've helped my clients achieve life-changing results through emotional intelligence training: 👇🏻 👇🏻👇🏻 👇🏻👇🏻 — The B2B sales exec who exceeded his company's annual sales goals in MONTHS without sacrificing work/life balance with his new wife
— The Special Forces Captain 👨✈️ who survived SERE training and went on to lead military teams in Afghanistan and Africa
— The CFO who went from a scathing “am I going to be fired?” 😩 performance review to “Golden Child" 😇
Would you like to chat about how they did it and what you need to make it happen for yourself?
Let's talk! Comment "Yes" below or message me directly (& feel free to tag friends). Looking for 3 people to speak with before Monday! Show me some 💕 on this post. 😄
A little motivation for anyone struggling.
Been a while since I took a gym picture and unfortunately the reason why is i had fell off my schedule. My position in work changed, my hours had changed, and for 3-4 months I was outside 8-12 hours a day while we organized our inventory yard. Even back in the office I had been off my schedule so long it was rough getting back into it. I felt too busy to maintain my gym schedule and slowly but surely lost muscle mass and gained fat. Fed up with myself, I was searching for motivation. A point that kept coming back to me was if you want something bad enough time is never an issue. For the past month I have been waking up by 3 to get to the gym before work and I have seen some muscle coming back and weight dropping. Its only been a month, so I have a long ways to go, but I just wanted to make a point that if you want it bad enough YOU CAN DO IT! I have felt so much better knowing i’m accomplishing something each day and I still have time to spend with my wife after work! Bottom line is, anyone can lose sight of their goals. The biggest thing is to get back on track, keep pushing yourself, and don’t make excuses. Excuses are nothing more than a reason to fail! Get after it, you got this!
Still haven’t found enough motivation to cut out carbs though 🤔🤔😂🙈 #dietproblems .
There were many things I questioned in my life but the one thing I was always 100% sure of is that I wanted to be a mom.
11 years ago was the first best day of my life. With immense love, David and I had created this beautiful little girl who has provided us with more love and happiness than I could have ever imagined ❤️ Happy 11th Birthday to my beautiful, smart, kind baby girl! “You are my sunshine”
Mental toughness, strength, skills, heart, coach-ability, endurance, confidence and discipline aren’t things you’re born with - they are learned. I’ll be sharing the system and programming I use for creating mentally strong and physically dominant athletes in Boston and Denver in early November. Click the link in my bio for more info. Hope to see you there. #builtbybergeron @katrintanja @comptrain #athletedevelopment#mentaltoughness 📷@christinedca
What if you did nothing more than show up today?
What if you didn’t have to look any different than you do or do any better than you have?
What if you just went through the motions with no expectations other than to earn a paycheck and get the job done?
What if you just showed up with the equipment and tools you already have and they were enough…
