Looking back it’s really not any different than it is now! As a friend told me “ you can’t miss what you never had”...I thought man does that hit home!! As far back as I can remember Birthday’s, our ball games, eight grade and kindergarten graduation any vacations it was always just us! Mother was there for ever thing Me, Paul, the grand kids and Oliver did, making sure we knew we were loved..she praised us, supported us, prayed for us and cheered us on. When I think of all the times we celebrated as a family, he never comes to mind. I choose these pics cause they were Mothers favorite. #sadbuttrue#family#makingmotherproud#motherwasright#missthem#memories#amotherslove
About what we have to talk .... „Documentary film as a freely available cultural asset - a case study on the project All Creatures Welcome.“ was the title of my talk @poem_h2020 participatory memory practice opening conference #hamburg#memories#science
One of my favorite moments of that year 2018 💛
Middle of nowhere, in the beautiful nature with the fam. Just perfect 💛
Always be the best person you can be.
Be kind even when you’re tired.
Be understanding even when you’re angry.
Do more than you’re asked, and don’t ask for anything in return.
Don’t silently expect anything either.
Listen when someone talks,
and really listen too,
stop just thinking of how you’ll reply.
Tell people that you love them and that you appreciate them.
Go out of your way to do things for people.
Be the greatest person you can possibly be and when you mess up,
make up for it in the next moment or minute or day.
One thing you should never do?
Never spend your time trying to prove to anybody that you’re great,
your actions will speak for themselves and we only have limited time on this earth,
don’t waste it.
If someone doesn’t see your light,
Good people are attracted to flame and to light,
and they will come.'
Best words for this end of the year.
That world needs more heart and soul, love and kindness.
More light, and you can be that 💛✨
