Best friend 👬: someone whom you can be yourself with, someone who you can have pointless conversations with, someone who still likes you even when you’re weird, someone who forgets to buy you a birthday gift…that’s why I came up with this. Happy Happy Birthday 🎉🎂🎊
I am grateful that you are a part of my life.😘❤
Thank you for being my best friend🕺🏻❤💝🍻
I found my tribe this weekend, and together we embraced a theme song: Pink’s “I Am Here,” which we all seemed to agree can mean a million different things to different people at different times. Yesterday I am here was about my babies. I knew that I would let them sleep in, since they were picking me up from the airport at 11 pm on Sunday. But when I got home, i could feel that it had been a bit shocking for them that i had left for five days, to have experiences without them. By the time I got home, it seems they developed a bit of mamitis (pronounced mom EEE tees, and may or may not be a real word but my lovey used to say that when the girls were little and extra clingy with me). I knew they needed to reclaim me as theirs, so they missed school and we stayed together. We spent the day talking and talking and talking, about big things and small things. I told them about the people I met and the things I learned. They told me about the stuff I missed while I was gone. They seem a little older and a little wiser from our week apart. I wonder if they think the same about me. Older, wiser, back together again: we are all here. #iamhere#wolfpack#mysquad
It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it myself.
I ❤️ it when she joins me for my early morning workouts. Even if she's asking a ton questions and I can't respond 🙄
