With Daniel Bryan ending AJ Styles one year reign as WWE Champion and becoming a villian now another change to Survivor Series 2018. Daniel Bryan for the. 1st time ever will go against The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. Been wanting to see this match for years. Who will take it?
Brock Lesnar wasn’t expected to win the Universal Title at WWE Crown Jewel, but after Roman Reigns had to leave and relinquish the title due to leukemia, Vince McMahon decided to back up the money truck to Brock Lesnar’s house again.
Brad Shepard noted on the Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast that Lesnar is, in fact, slated for even more dates than we previously thought. We knew about 2 dates being Survivor Series and WrestleMania, but apparently, the plan is for not much to change in regards to Lesnar’s part-time schedule. “Brock Lesnar so this run he’s on right now will probably be similar to his last run in the company and he’s likely going to do more than a couple of dates. Again, it was reported originally elsewhere that he’ll do 2 more dates. It’s likely that he’ll do more than a couple of dates.” WWE needs as many top names as they can so it’s hard to imagine that they wouldn’t want to secure Lesnar for more dates. The real question is whether or not he would carry the Universal Title in the process.
Only time will tell what Brock Lesnar decides to do with the remainder of his career. As i previously reported, there could be a thought that he’s been playing WWE and UFC at the same time. But apparently, Lesnar will be around every so often from this point on unless things change.#eatsleepconquerrepeat#paulheyman#paulheymanbeast#nextbigthing#brocklesnar#beastincarnate#unleashthebeast#followme#mondaynightraw#raw#universalchampion#survivorseries#wrestlemania35
Due to Becky Lynch's unexpected injuries on Monday Night Raw a big change has been made to Survivor Series 2018. Ronda Rousey's new opponent is now 7 Time Women's World Champion Charlotte Flair. This match was rumored to be take place at WrestleMania 35 in April. Now fans can get an early preview.
Paige is the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion but it is said that she has spinal stenosis and will never wrestle in a WWE ring again. It sounds like she misses wrestling for obvious reasons, but as GM of SmackDown Live, she’s able to stay in the business. However, she might like to get even closer.
Paige recently spoke to Planeta Wrestling where she said that she’s ready for whatever challenge WWE wants to set before her. But one thing she really wants to do is manage. Paige stated that she wants to be like Paul Heyman and revealed that she even pitched to manage Ronda Rousey before. But she’s not just limiting her possible clients to females either because she’s also open to representing men.“I would do anything. Right now I’m really happy being SmackDown General Manager. It can open so many different doors. I can be so many different characters just being SmackDown General Manager. I can be a good guy, bad guy, whatever I want.”“I would love to be a manager kinda like Paul Heyman one day. I would love to do anything, anything.”“Oh man, who would I love to manage? Everybody. I wanted to manage Ronda [Rousey] at one point but she doesn’t need me, she doesn’t need me Just anyone. Even if it’s men too, bring em on.” Paige’s career in WWE might have years to come in it. Therefore, don’t count her out as a manager just yet because there is still plenty of time for that. She might not be allowed to take a bump, but she can still work a microphone. The only trick would be to find a Superstar who needs her help to get them over. But if you ask Paige, Ronda Rousey might be a perfect fit, the only issue is that Rousey seems to be doing just fine on the microphone so far on her own. #followme#mondaynightraw#raw#rondarousey#rowdyrondarousey#WWE#rawwomenschampion#thebaddestwomanontheplanet @rondarousey @realpaigewwe
I know there hasn't been a brand swap in a hot minute, but it's never too far out of the question, especially around this time of the year, as to who should be moved to where. And of course, at some point some of or maybe even all of these superstars will switch sides, but I hope not any time soon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but each 5 have been with their brand since the split years ago (not counting Styles' appearances for RAW and RAWs TLC event), and have stayed through the waives of others being traded. Roman included because there's nowhere else he should be when he returns then back on Monday nights. Would be fun for new matchups, but odd seeing someone like Styles away from the house he built, or Rollins no longer ruling Monday nights.
WWE really decided to shake things up before Survivor Series and draw a lot of curiosity to the event. It seems that Vince McMahon really wanted to see Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan after all because he booked the match that was supposed to happen at the 2014 SummerSlam event.
But as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is in a very strange situation at the present moment in regards to the way they can tell this match. If Daniel hadn’t turned heel following his WWE Championship win, it would have made things much easier, but his turn to the dark side has created another interesting situation. “It’s a total makeshift show. Lesnar and Bryan is a very different match than Lesnar and AJ. Lesnar and AJ, we already know that if Brock Lesnar wants to do that match then it’s a great match. Lesnar and Bryan, with Bryan as a babyface I have no doubt that’s a great match because if Lesnar wants to work and give him some ‘hope spots’ and things like that.” “I have no doubt as a freshly turned heel and being so much smaller, that’s just a really weird dynamic. The other thing too is that Bryan and the babyface thing would be catching him in submissions and Brock having to power out and all that. A submission master is very much a babyface role. Like the heel should be low blows and chopblocks and all that. You can do that to a degree but Daniel Bryan doing that to Brock and Brock’s a heel too. So I don’t know what the story’s going to be.”
It seems like WWE has a lot of options with the newly booked Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. But only time will tell how they tell a story between two heels fighting for bragging rights. #eatsleepconquerrepeat#paulheyman#paulheymanbeast#nextbigthing#brocklesnar#beastincarnate#unleashthebeast#followme#mondaynightraw#raw#universalchampion#survivorseries#danielbryan
Ok so Bryan is Champion and I couldn’t be happier he’s a heel too on top of that and all though it’s good they really should’ve pulled the trigger on turning styles heel instead and still giving Bryan the title for multiple reasons 1. It Sets up good rivalry that can be booked the right way to make up for the crown JOKE version of it 2.It would give aj a reason to interfere and cost dbry the match against Brock and actually make sense because if aj interferes this Sunday now it won’t make sense because it’ll kinda make Brock look like the face. 3. It’s heel Aj Styles it gives him the one thing he lacks as a face and that’s more freedom on the mic and a better character it makes aj an even better superstar which would’ve payed off in the long run
