It's never too late,
to see what I wanna see
Instead of what's in front of me, yeah
And it's never too late, to be free if you wanna be
I can help you if you wanna be, babe
I got a feelin' in my bones
Guess I got love on the brain
Giving into your affection

Out of curiosity yesterday I looked up “minimalism”. It turns out to be an actually a movement. I`d never known about it just instantly followed my instincts towards a more meaningful and easier life. I just simply don`t want unnecessary stuff to take up space in my life, at home or in the garage (which I also don`t have, yaaay!) and I don`t want to waste time, money and energy on stuff just to make some extra on the side or to have these because “They`re gonna be useful one day”.
Without knowing it I became a minimalist which is trendy and cool and so am I. Naturally. 😊
To me it`s all about to have less stuff to distract me and about allowing myself to focus on more important things in my life like my relationships, my loved ones, health, new memories and experiences and growth. It`s freedom.
“I don’t own excess. I have only the things I use frequently, things that add value to my life; but I don’t have extra stuff, I don’t have just-in-case items.”
I constantly question possessions. Do I still need this? When is the last time I used this? What would happen if I got rid of this? Could someone use this more than me?
I don’t give meaning to possessions. Most important, I understand that my possessions can be replaced.”
That stuff doesn`t make me happy, unique or safe. It is just a temporary endorphin rush, it goes away, stuff remains.
