“I just try to show compassion towards others and try and make their day a little bit better if they are having a rough time. I was born and raised here in Louisville, it is home to me, not a bad place at all to live at all, but addiction and homelessness are reigning supreme around here lately. I just try and show as much kindness and help as I can when there is an opportunity, as far as God is concerned he wants us to support those less fortunate than us in accordance to how good he has been to us. Nobody has gone broke helping other people; I think the right thing to do is go out of your way to help people who need it.
I am happiest when I am worshipping the lord around other believers and I am just connected to the Holy Spirit. I can hear God’s voice speak to my heart and I just ask him to give me the mind and strength to apply his good moral values in my daily walk. That is what I try and accomplish as often as possible.
It is hard for me to see people that are not realizing God is in the blessing business, there are circumstances preventing them from really fulfilling their dreams in life. When life gets really hard and people have nowhere to turn, the hopelessness starts to set in and you can see that hopelessness on someone’s face. People get so far down in that ocean of despair and you can see them begin to sink, they don’t have families, they don’t have love to help support them, they end up out here on the street drowning. This hardens these people and it makes them feel like the world is against them, I have gone through homelessness and it is rough, it is so hard.
If you ask God for help, I assure you that he will put your feet on the right path, for me it was exposure to people that could help me get back on my feet. It is about being proactive in your situation and not becoming a product of the time you are in.”

“I really enjoy reading old texts and books. It varies as far as subject, this morning I was reading old runes from Saint Ruth’s Cross. I am just trying to be more familiar and learn more about runes and the language. My favorite moments of my life were when I was a student. It may sound funny, but something about studying was a happy time in my life. I was in school for a long time and I miss it.
I don’t like discord, there’s a lot of that right now. I am for civility and all the arguing and disagreeing doesn’t make me very happy. Most people want the world to be a better place and when you have those open honest conversations it is bound to happen, but I don’t enjoy when it takes place.”
Fall in Louisville. That bite of cold, that beauty.
Fall is the most nostalgic of seasons for me. It always takes me back. To high school football games, college bonfires, mornings in the deer stand. Such a beautiful life, but the biting of reminiscing is just like this cold brittle Fall. But so blessed for it all. 🍁
