How 'bout this weather?
Perfect for this weekend's Harvest Festival Photo Booth event!
So bring family and friends, cameras, and iPhones to take some awesome photos with rustic harvest backgrounds.
I had a lovely visit this evening with two friends from High School. We reconnected at our reunion a few weeks ago and we got together for Happy Hour at Pier 7 on the waterfront in North Vancouver. The sunset was spectacular!
Haven't posted from my chilling after work spot in awhile.. although I've wanted to. Trying to act like it's no big deal has been real hard for me... every morning I feel blessed to wake up hearing the gulls. I head to the city for work, but never forget to look back at the shore. Love to catch that epic sunrise. When work gets stressful I have to remind myself what I'm working for and it all goes away. After work when I'm heading home I've been jumping the seabus lately, while everyones staring at their phones I stand by the door.. watching the lions as we approach.. sometimes I'm lucky enough to catch seals playing in the harbour. If I'm outside at 9pm I can hear the canon fire in stanley park from my door step. I have to hold back tears, I can't believe this is my life now.. People have told me eventually the mountains will lose their effect on me.. but I think they're wrong, because this is all I ever wanted. Nov 1st will mark 1 year living on my own here on the shore, 3+ years total.. first 2+ were in Van. I did not do this myself I had a lot of help, without my beautiful mom and Andrew, Doug, Laura, and all the guys at LC I would not be here right now and I just want everyone to know how truely thankful I really am.. no more words.. 🙏
In Sunday's Vancouver Province paper, we challenged all candidates to post their list of campaign donors. See article here:
I am honouring that commitment challenge. There's a complete list of donations received as of the date and time for this post on my website. If your candidate hasn't posted their donation list on a public website for you to see, then perhaps you can ask them, why?
Huge congrats to our two sellers at Bollert Place! Listing at the same time allowed for two sets of buyers to shop both units and led to crazy busy opens! • 103 2588 Alder | $659,000 | 637sqft | 1 bed | 1 bath | renovated • 304 2588 Alder | $629,000 | 677sqft | 2 bed | 1 bath | updated • 🏆🏠🏆🏠

Himalayan salt has many benefits that can improve healthy living. It can be heated and used as a salt lamps releasing negative ions to purify the air. It can be used as a scrub for the face or body as it exfoliates and removes dead skin cells. It can also be used for metaphysical work by healers.
Heating salt crystals result to producing negative ions into the air. Negative ions help to clean the air decreasing irritation due to inhaling particles that make us sneeze, cough, or have a throat irritation. Negative ions also increase the flow of oxygen to the brain allowing us to stay more alert and focus while decreasing drowsiness. Due to the rich minerals found in Himalayan Salt such as calcium, magnesium, and iron, it removes toxins, balances electrolyte and pH levels, strengthen bones, and support circulation when it is digested. This makes it a great seasoning for your meals! *We have restocked all of our Himalayan Salt products! For those who don't know, we carry Himalayan Salt Lamps in 3 different shapes now! We also have them for your baths as well as seasoning for food, face mask and more!*
Thank you to all the residents who took the time to join us yesterday at Harry Jerome and ask the candidates for mayor and council their important questions and then listened to our positions on this development which is causing so much controversy in the community.
I believe that $237 M is too great a risk for our city and I promise you that if you elect me to be your next mayor, I will stop this process and resize the project to match the needs, wants and wishes of the community with far more cost effective solutions, and without 32 or 28-storey or even 18-storey towers. These buildings are simply too big for the area and the project must be re-designed.
Additionally, I wish to preserve the lawn bowling facility with a new clubhouse and build an all new stand-alone Silver Harbour facility twice the size of the current facility and complete with underground parking allowing Silver Harbour to remain independent of the Harry Jerome reconstruction project.
I also believe that we must provide suitable space of the required size (16,000 sq ft.) for Flicka Gymnastics. All of this is achievable, along with a new pool, if we just re-think these plans a little more thoroughly.
Thanks for Elect Joe Heilman for hosting the event and my apologies to those looking for me at Waves Coffee House at 1 pm as The Harry Jerome event went longer than expected. But there are more opportunities to chat Monday through Friday at “Coffee with Kerry” events. You can find them here http://kerrymorris4mayor.com/events/
